Super cool store with lots of wild animals stuffed. Was so fun looking at all of the fish and wild life upon entrance. What made us stop here though was the fact that they have Cedar Crest Ice Cream, one of the BEST ice creams around the local area in our opinion. It's locally made in Wisconsin and has just amazing flavor without crazy amounts of sugar. We decided on splitting a large cup and got two scoops, 1 each a different flavor: Blueberry Waffle Cone and Cookie Monster. There's a lot of ice cream flavor choices so took us a few minutes to decided. They do allow you to sample but we only got 2 samples each, that's all they allowed apparently (?). Pricing was decent - about $4.50 for a large bowl. If coming through the area again we would likely stop here for ice cream!

My first visit last week was enjoyable which is why I came back today. This visit not so nice. Last visit they had about 10 employees and today just 2. And they were busier. But it about the food. I had the Philly and onion rings. Sandwich was very filling. Cheaper meat and lots of cheese but it was over cooked. The onion rings were the good type but were mostly burnt. Will have to think about trying this place again.

This place has everything! From groceries to beer, fishing gear/bait , and cabin deco items and clothing. The dining side has good pizza, chicken, and ice cream. Danbury would not be the same without it.

Me and my family stopped here driving home from Fourth of July festivities, I tried the Reuben sandwich and my boyfriend had a sausage pizza, kids loved the subs . The Reuben was very tasty. And the sausage pizza was also very good. The cheese was what's expected for good Wisconsin cheese. I like good sauce and a good dough, to me they need to all be perfect. And it was ! The staff was also very friendly and fast, Wile so busy. We will definitely stop again when we go next year !

The Log Cabin is one of those convenience stores that is so much more than a gas stop... it's a landmark. First of all -- the building is huge and totally unique. It's also kind of a good first stop or last stop depending on which way you're headed. If you need gas and a quick snack, they can definitely help you with that. If you need a restroom break, they've definitely got you covered. If you need clothes, boots, candy or just a friendly smile, they've got that too. Oh, and beer. They've got your beer too. I love just kind of wandering around and looking at stuff. And my husband says their pizza isn't half bad. What more do you want?

The food is not cheap but the portions are so generous that you still are getting a great deal. A 2 piece chicken snack was $5.50 but the pieces of chicken were huge and a mashed potato side (included) was 3 scoops smothered in gravy. My favorite is the ice cream! A single scoop waffle cone was $4 after tax. But I have no idea how it is a "single" scoop. There were at least 3 scoops inside the cone and 2 at the top. So yummy! Everything from kid friendly superman and birthday cake flavors to maple nut, Mackinac island fudge, yogurts and sherbet and ice cream swirl. Then work off some calories by wandering through the gift shop. Lots of black bears and wolves, T shirts, wind chimes, wall art, you name it!

This establishment had horrible service they forgot almost all of our order the workers didn't know what they were doing. One of the walls seems to be caving in. I wouldn't recommend this place and I'm never coming here again.

My two small kids and I stopped in for lunch on our way to Hayward for Spring break. The cashier was so kind and accommodating to my crabby 4 year old son (we had been in the car for quite a while) and when we sat down to wait for our food, another employee stopped by our table with coloring books from the gift shop. It was so thoughtful and such a heartwarming gesture. It was the perfect start to our getaway. Thank you for the great experience!!
