Little Tijuana has been on my list FOREVER & I finally got to go! Walking in, the space is immediately cool; red lights, string lights, a huge mural, good music, etc. We did have to wait about 15-20 minutes to be sat, but I love that they grab your drink order while you're waiting. Once we were sat (on the bar side), I ordered the Palak Paneer Dip. The naan was so warm & just a little bit crispy, the dip itself was SO tasty with just a little spice to it. I would eat that every day of my life. I got a couple drinks as well: the Cachaca Carajillo was like an espresso martini but better, it was less alcoholic tasting. Their Perfect Margarita was, as the name suggests, a quintessential lime marg. The rim was a little spicy & really tasty, & I love that you get the rest of the shaker worth of the drink. I can't wait to come back here & try more!

My mom & I randomly decided to stop by for a drink. I had drive by it before and kind of assumed it was a Mexican restaurant (quickly learned that it is not). When you first walk in it's a bit dark but it gives a dive bar vibe. One side is booths and the other side is a bar and a few places to sit. I actually really liked the bar side vibe. They had music playing and while sitting at the bar we seen the music switch from record to cassette tape which was cool. The co-owner was running the bar & serving tables when we first arrived. He was super attentive and friendly. I ordered a Lemon drop which was really good but I'm more of a sweet drinker and got a piña colada for my second drink which was also good. A bit spendy. We briefly chatted with the co-owner about the food on the menu, a bit random menu but they have something for everyone. Was pretty empty when we first arrived but got busier as time went on. The Vikings were playing and they do not have tvs he

Little Tijuana was on our to-do list for a long time before we finally stumbled in on a random weeknight and were blown away by the ambiance , the food, and the service. The second time we went at a more popular hour and the place was packed but we managed to squeeze onto the bar rail and the service and food was as amazing as ever. The palak paneer dip is my favorite snack ever invented and even just a simple burger hits the greasy need spot so well. Highly recommend as a place to bring your cool friends and out of town family for a quick bite or just settle yourself into a booth on a snowy night and enjoy the cozy food and ambiance.

After a short night of drinking at the Prodigal Public House next door, my group and I needed some grub so we stumbled over to Little Tijuana and had a fantastic meal. After a couple drinks, which were pretty dang good, we all ordered food. I got one of their burgers and fries, which were both very tasty. The waitress was super nice and very tentative as well. We also got our check quickly, which was nice.I want to go back and get their chicken sandwich some day, which was supposed to be really good so I definitely want to go back!

We decided to come here randomly one night after hearing my boyfriend's grandparents talk about how they used to come here when they were younger. I loved how they are open late and the vibe inside is very unique and I love it! Very warm orange lighting and definitely feels like a cozy little local spot. We were greeted by a very kind waitress and she was very attentive the entire time! We ordered the Mapo rigatoni because it seemed unique and we love mapo tofu! It was great. Super umami, salty, and delicious. Really enjoyed this dish. We also ordered the scallion pancake wrap with the marinated beef and wow! It was great. The beef was a great addition and it was well seasoned, had a great sauce, and I loved the freshness that the herbs added! The side of plain chips was nice to have. They also brought out these two hot sauces that I believe are from a local brand and oh my god I adored them. I immediately looked the brand up and tried to purchase them for myself!Overall I would definitely come here again! Cute little spot for a late night bite to eat.

The only thing keeping me from coming here every week is that driving in Whittier is a nightmare. It's a vibe, for sure, and I haven't had a bad experience yet. It's got a faux-dive atmosphere with red lighting (as made famous by Chip's), vintage records and cassettes on repeat, and a non-distracting disco ball above the bar area. The bartender's have always been amazing and make great conversation during slower hours. The chef even brought us a version of "general tso's" cauliflower they were testing out, on the house, for feedback. They've got a couple 2-tops on the sidewalk in nicer weather but the dining room is pretty small. It's definitely a place to get drinks with food vs the other way around. But that doesn't mean you should skip it at all.Their fried cauliflower is one of my favorite dishes in MSP. Super crisp dredge, tender cauliflower, flavorful sauces, and loads of pickled ginger & bonito. So much flavor. So many textures. I just get it for my main every time. The mushroom scallion wrap is also amazing. Better than the beef, IMO. Tons of umami with perfectly cooked mushrooms in a nice (read: oily) scallion wrap. The onion dip hits hard. We've had the palek paneer before and it's also crazy flavorful. The pita is the standard Costco/Sysco kind you get at most places but it's warmed nicely.I 100% recommend popping in for their happy from 4-5 for $6 burger or old fashioned. It's one of my favorite spots that I'm selfishly glad flies under the radar.

Great late night eats and drinks. It was super dark and cozy. I'd never been in before so it did seem a bit like we maybe shouldn't stumble in, but the staff were friendly enough so went with it. Our waiter redone the chopped cheese, which I'd never had a before but it was delicious. Basically like a cheese steak. It came with kettle chips. I also had the strongest piña colada ever. It was good, but again very strong so be careful. Definitely a liquor forward type of bar. Overall I would come back!

I'm upgrading my original review of Little T's to a 5 star review. They deserve it. This is a small place with an incredible heart. Their food is meticulously thought out and executed, with an Asian flare. It's honestly one of my favorites in the cities. The staff is super friendly and the bartenders all look affectionately like 90's pop stars. I love it! They have an incredible burger as well.I'm not a huge fan of their drinks but others seem to really enjoy. We also tried the fried cauliflower, which is the best I've ever had. It has a Japanese flavor profile, similar to the savory pancake or okonomiyaki, so unique. I'll be back just for that. I really want to try the whole menu

We stopped in here after getting a recommendation from LITT down the street. The menu is not what I was expecting. Very hodge podge, a seemingly odd assortment of meals. My fam got the St Paul Sando, mush melt and the chicken sandwich - everyone loved their sannies! The chips were good but the waffle fries were so crisp I wouldn't even consider them fries. The only vegan item I could order was the mapo rigatoni and I did not like it. It was spicy and onion-y, two things I hate. It was also tiny for being $14! Excuse me?! Ugh. I asked if I could make anything else vegan on the menu and was told no.We got the papri chaat for a starter with yogurt on the side for me (and no one ended up eating it). The starter was fine but nothing mind blowing like the person who recommended it said it would be. Overall disappointing and I would have no need to visit again, everyone loved their sandwiches though. Just not a vegan-friendly place.
