Amazing! Great little place to eat. Food came so fast and very nice people work here. We got the egg rolls which came with a sauce, not sure what it was but it was delicious. The pad Thai was great! I did the spicy level 2. Next time I will up it a level or two as I love spice. Excellent price. I will be back again!

Really good, authentic Thai food! They are not full service, so more of a place you would want to take food to go. There is no bathroom or super comfortable place to eat. Staff were friendly and courteous.

Updating the review as there is an online option to order PLUS if you call, the phone is picked up every single time! The food is always a crowd pleaser no matter what you order. The service time is great.I have never sat down and ate inside but there is small seating area which looks clean.

This was a great place to eat. I had the Pad Thai and it was delicious. I love the fact YOU can make the decision on the spice level. Staff are amazing very helpful and pleasant. It's a smaller restaurant but the food and staff are enormous!!

Had takeout for the first time from Lisu's. We had the spicy wings, Massaman curry with chicken, Pad See-Eiw with chicken and the chicken lettuce wraps. The spicy wings had nice crunch and lots of spice in the sauce. Only complaint was 3 of them were meaty and 3 were teeny tiny. I actually used the wing sauce to try to cut the sweetness in the Pad See-Eiw. I hadn't asked for any spice since the online ordering doesn't have a spice scale rather you have to put it into the special instructions which isn't ideal. I had requested medium spice in the Massaman and it was pretty spicy but also had a lot of sweetness. I would usually say that contrast is exactly why I love Thai food but both tried to overpower the other and so the balance just wasn't there. Finally the chicken lettuce wrap wowed my fiancé but I thought it was way too salty and felt more like chicken salad than the usual lettuce wraps I'm used to from some of the larger Thai chains. I think Lisu's has potential but the flavor profiles of the dishes were either too sweet or too salty for me in most cases so it could take time to find the gems on the menu where the balance is right. Pricing was really reasonable with most dishes under $14 though I noticed portions seemed on the smaller side. Service was good for takeout. They do have a few tables inside should you want to dine in. Jury is still out on this one, we will likely try again, but I'd say current 4.5 star rating is overly generous.

I love their cream cheese wontons! Okay, now that that's out of the way...Lisu's has great food! I wasn't expecting much, especially after trying the other Asian restaurants in Cottage Grove. But I am so happy that when I'm craving Thai food, I don't have to go far. To be fair, we haven't strayed too far from our usuals, but from what we have ordered, we've been happy. Our go-tos are cream cheese wontons, chicken pad Thai, and the massaman curry. If they had the sticky rice and mango dessert, I'd be throughly happy!

I forgot to take pictures but we had the Tom kha. It was missing a good broth base which could have been chicken breast t dead food if they tried. Probably even more fish sauce or salt. The coconut milk they put in there wasn't fragrant. The Papaya salad for $10.60 is ridiculous price given it was just green papaya, one big tomatoes sliced up, peanuts and 2 Thai eggplants and fish sauce and lime. I'm used to the other SEAsion papaya salad that had more oomph with fermented crab or shrimp and carrrots and string green beans. My family had the chicken satay and it's the average taste but not better than Thai express or Taste of Thaiyai in Apple Valley. We ordered at counter and sat at a modest booth. Extremely casual.
