My review is of Geek Haven, the coffee/tea spot in the Level Up Game Shop. The cappuccino was wonderful (16 Oz $4.25), my Miel Special (20 Oz $4.75) was very nice. The peanut butter bar snack ($1.89) was perfect to go with our coffees.Saturday morning they offer game demos, so the cutest junior member offered to show us one of the board games.

Awesome game store with a coffee shop inside! There were many different areas that you could lose yourself in at this store. Doesn't matter if its board games, DND, comics etc, they have it here! Their games are fairly priced and their coffee shop has a variety of options from coffee, teas and italian soda's along with some baked goods. You can see game demos, play some open table games and go to events when they are running them. This is for sure a place to check out if you are into this type of stuff or if you are just looking to support local and buy a board game. They pretty much carry everything a games by james would. So shop local instead! Oh and their coffee shop has a punch card as well, so if you think you're going to frequent them often might as well grab one!

Amazing owners, friendly staff, great prices and a place to hang out in Hastings that is open until 10pm and not a bar! No purchases required. The shop looks small when you walk in but it is packed with comic books (new & collectibles), manga, tabletop games, expansions, accessories for games, console games, console accessories, D&D books, minis and everything else you want, space to play: collectible card games, store owned tabletop games and screens to play store owned console games! Drinks, snacks and a coffee shop which is coming soon. I thought I saw everything in the store but figured I would walk around again - I had missed so many things the first time around. I am still not sure that I saw everything. I am looking forward to spending more time at the shop. Maybe taking a walk along the river to collect lots of Pokémon and hit a gym at the same time. The store really has everything. Kids can hang out and play games at no cost. If Mom or Dad need to bring a child to play there are plenty of options for them to have a drink or a bite to eat while they wait.Accessible entry to the store (ramp up, no steps). Street parking and a brand new parking deck about a block away.

On an out warm afternoon hike exploring Hastings. Ducked in for some break from the sun and a beverage. I noticed the energy drink at the bottom of the menu and boy was it just what we needed! Try the pink base with blackberry-- Yum Yum. The game selection is terrific and the staff was friendly and helpful.

This place is AWESOME. Great prices, a free rewards/loyalty program, coffee, open until 10 PM, and great selection of games, comic books, and other tabletop game related accessories. I wish we lived closer to Hastings so we could come back all the time. Even though it's a bit of a trek, I'm sure we'll be back!

This store is my favorite place to go! Tony is a walking comic book encyclopedia! It doesn't matter if you are a comic book expert yourself, a novice, or somewhere in the middle like me - the staff is welcoming and patient and excited about the comics you are excited about! Also this is the best coffee shop in town! Geek Haven Cafe is a great place to grab an espresso drink, tea, or Italian soda with great seating right downtown! I go to this store 3 times a week and I always love it!

i called for a game boy color, they said they had one available that was a clear purple, and they said they would hold it for me until I arrived, left my house right after the phone call. it took my over an hr to drive there for them to tell me they sold it already..... horrible customer service, didn't seem to care, just wanted to send me on my way so they could go back talking amongst each other. waste of time energy and money, save yours.
