Lakewood Cafe

Pretty solid place for breakfast! Used to be an old Perkins and it still kinda feels that way decoration-wise but with a different menu. Staff was super friendly and although they were short-staffed, the owner came in to work the front and free up some of the service. Would come back if we're in the area for breakfast!

What a great place for a meal! The food is quite good with decent prices, service is quick and the food comes out piping hot! Their menu is extensive with 2 separate menus , 1 for breakfast (6 pages!) And 1 for lunch (also 6 pages!). Truly everyone can find something to like.Honestly, I can't think of one complaint.

This place is a solid diner with homemade food and pie. All the breakfast dishes we had (big group) were delicious, and large portion sizes. Hash browns were crispy, eggs cooked properly. And the pie? Yum! My cousin and I got both the banana cream and the coconut cream and shared and they were spot on. Service was friendly and accurate! And the whole place is clean and well lit.

Food is good... but please check the order when u are buying here... i ordered chicken basket, combo pack and grilled shrimp without rice... chicken basket and combo shrimp were ok... but grilled shrimp they gave like 6 small shrimp pieces and charged 18 bucks... i felt this was too much for the quantity...

Had dinner here last night 12-6-23. Swedish meatballs , hot beef dinner , chicken dumpling soup and cheese curds. Everything was delicious. The soup was obviously home made and maybe the best I've ever had. Great service reasonable prices.Will definitely be back next time I'm in town. Highly recommend give it a try especially if you're tired of pizza and fast food.

What's not to love?! Anything you could ever want on the menu, including breakfast all day. Large, tasty, fresh, and hot servings. Fast and friendly service. Great prices. A bright, clean environment to enjoy your food. Will definitely be returning to this fine restaurant!

We came here in the middle of the Birkie. Tired, drained, defeated. We had been turned away in 10° weather by 2 diners due to being over occupancy. We were welcomed at the door to be immediately seated & served hot coffee. The restaurant was clean & comfortable, including the bathrooms. Our waitress Jamie was extremely prompt. For how fast the food came out, it was surprisingly delicious! We will be back next year, thank you Lakewood Cafe for saving us on such a stressful day.

Service is impeccable, ambiance is very nice and clean. The food is very good and the menu is huge! My husband and I eat here often and bring friends who are always happy with the food and service, too. The owner/manager is the best in the business in our book!

Very good food and plenty of it. Very clean, friendly staff. Several times checking if your food is good or if you need anything else.
