I didn't like the chimichanga. It was a large amount of rice and very little shredded beef. Most chimi's have refried beans and maybe some veggies. Maybe they should offer an option.

Great place and people. Recommend if passing through Spooner. All their food was great.

Ordered the Philly chicken Mac n cheese skillet and it was delicious! Large portion and so tasty. We will definitely be back.

When placing order over the phone, very clear that I'm avoiding an allergen. Waitress checked with cook that there was no dairy in beef raviolis. Stressed no cheese. Took order home and there was a very healthy amount of cheese melted over the dish. Removed the cheese and there was cheese inside the beef ravioli. And butter on the bread. Called restaurant and they offered only 1/2 of the amount for the dish which would be as cash and we would have to drive back to pick up refund. Husband loved his calzone.

The food here isn't bad. Tacos weren't anything crazy, but wasn't horrible. The Mac n cheese was very very creamy. Too the point where it was just to creamy and not appetizing. Also every time I've came here they have been out of the Bavarian pretzel. It isn't even like a busy day, it was only a Wednesday. The service was usual. But the overall vibe of the place seemed good. You for surly are surrounded by a Mexican environment with all the nice decor. But overall the service and ambiance was good, it was the food that was the problem for me.

This is not a huge restaurant located in Spooner, WI, but it's huge on flavor and portions. I am not kidding when I say I have had authentic Mexican food, as well as Mexican food from all across the country, and I really mean it when I say this is one of the best ever. I had shrimp and steak fajitas, and I can't remember having fajitas like this except for another family run Mexican restaurant in California.The guacamole - outstanding, their chips - freshly fried...super light and crispy - perfect....the fajitas - bliss.They have a very large menu... I can't find a full one online, but the Italian side sounds just as good....pizza, Italian beef and sausage sandwiches, large selection of pastas....even hot dogs! One option is the Chicago dog. From those that have tried this side of the fence food say it's also very good. So go there and check for yourself. I believe they are fairly young for a restaurant, but they sure know what they are doing. It wasn't just the food either. The service was excellent, the prices very fair, and even the bathroom was really clean!

We have come here many times and have received good food and good service. We came tonight and we waited over 15 minutes for anyone to get us a drink then we waited 49 minutes for our food, while three or four other tables came in 40 minutes after us received all their drinks and food within ten minutes. Very disappointed very irritated. Easy order, as well a taco, a chili cheese dog and a steak and 49 minutes. Didn't receive any discounts or apologies

Service, food, sitting outside watching traffic go by, all great!It was our third or fourth time.Always good!

Great stop from the UP to the airport. Very family friendly, great service, great value, clean and friendly. Only downside is the chips and salsa- they didn't seem homemade, and that is the reason for my 4/5 stars.
