La Maria Taqueria Restaurante

First off I would like to compliment the two young gals that had GREAT customer service. They were both very personable even though we had a tiny bit of a language barrier as I was wanting to order some shredded meat for Christmas Eve, their sign said closed on the outside. I was able to leave my number and Maria called me back and I was able to make arrangements to pick up trays of Carnitas and Barbacoa for our annual Christmas Family Fiesta. I was greeted at the door by Jose (?) I sure hope I have that right and Sweet Maria behind the counter with my trays. They are AMAZING people and La Maria Taqueria is a little AUTHENTIC place to get the REAL thing without having a passport My family of 10 LOVED the shredded carnitas and the Shredded Barbacoa. I will ALWAYS support La Maria!

Here in Wisconsin on a jobGot a tip about this place and decided to feed my crew of 25 ..Ordered 50 tacos and a couple burritos ..Reasonably priced and outstanding service Order was ready in 15 minutes and the guys loved them and asked where I got them

Ate at La Maria Taqueria for the first time today and it was a great experience. I will absolutely be back, perhaps weekly. Flavors were on point and I could tell everything was freshly made. I especially loved the pastor tacos and the guacamole was perfect. The servings are generous and the prices are super reasonable. The service was great and my food came out fast. I took my food to go today but the restaurant is super clean and would be great for dining in. 100% recommend supporting this local business!

Really good tacos. Everything felt fresh, and authentic. Perhaps the best was the carne asada steak (not pictured). Very generous on the meats making these huge tacos worthy of me looking forward to my next trip back! PS: If you like guacamole, it is definitely worth it. Eat here!

This place blew me away. I had 4 tacos, one asada, one al pastor, one barbacoa, and one birria. Possibly the best tacos I've ever had?! It sounds crazy to say outloud, but they were all incredible. Each meat unbelievably flavorful, and juicy. Very clean, fast service, the only downside is that I live so far away. If I ever find myself in the area again for work, I will without a question stop again. Could not recommend higher!

A stellar addition to the Lakeland area!!! Good restaurants are far and few between south of 94.They have a cooler with Jarritos in glass jars, Mundet Apple Soda, Coco Juice, Mexican Cola & Sprite, Snapple, and common pop as well.In the front they sell Horchata and Hibiscus Tea. I ordered asada tacos ($3.50/taco), rice (spanish style) & beans. We also got chips and queso on the side. It was all very good. Honestly some of the best I've had in or around twin cities-- a runner up would probably be Tavial Grill on West 7th in St. Paul. The tacos dont come with any salsa but if you ask they have medium or hot versions they can give you. I got the hot, and it did have some heat but not too bad. It was on the liquidy side but still a good addition for the asada tacos. No complaints.You order at the cashier and they'll call you up for your order when it's done. Then you can seat yourself and dispose of trays/trash. excited to go back!!!!

Always good food and service at this family owned and managed business. You never knew such good fast food could out of the skeleton of a Subway franchise. Good variety of choices. Easy parking

Stop by and check out the fantastic food at this little strip mall spot! They also run a taco truck with delicious fare. Every menu item is yummy and the owners are so friendly!
