La Casita Mexican Restaurant

La Casita is one of our favorite go-to's!Best chips in the USA. Good salsa and queso.It's hard to beat the Polo Fundido, or the fajitas.

This restaurant is huge and very clean! The parking lot is big so it was easy to park. We walked in and got sat right away even with having a child and needing a high chair. The service was fast and efficient. I ordered the Mango Colada to start, very refreshing! We had chips and salsa but also got queso and that was amazing. I got the steak quesadillas and 2 steak tacos. The food was really good and the price was fair. If you are around the St. Cloud area, I recommend you try this spot.

If you're looking for savory, gooey, Mexican-American comfort food, you will find it here!We started with the queso blanco, and for main dishes we had the Mazatlan with shrimp and carne asada with black beans. Both were delicious!

It was a favorite spot. Our last visit will most likely be the last. Service was 5/5 as was the margarita. The menu has been significantly streamlined, the prices have increased dramatically and the portions are not what they used to be. Very disappointing. I understand the need to reduce costs but too many changes.

So, came here today for a birthday lunch with my family. I ordered the simplest thing. Ground Beef taco plate with no tomatoes. I got shredded chicken tacos w/ no tomatoes. I sent it back. Then, I received Ground beef tacos w Tomatoes. Sent it back. Then as everyone else was finally getting done with there meal, I got shredded beef tacos, no tomatoes and no lettuce or cheese. Seriously. It.Is.A.Taco! how do you screw it up 3x????

Went in with 12 people at 2:30 on a Wednesday. Atmosphere was very clean we were sat immediately. Waitress was however less than friendly and quite rude, the restraint maybe had 3 tables with people, she was in a huge hurry the entire time and even skipped over people when ordering.Food was average, but the total service aspect was very off putting .

My family has gone to the St. Cloud location many times for family dinners, however, this last Friday (01/03) marked the last time we will ever do so. I walked in at 6pm and told the hostess working we'd have a group of 20 and that we'd need a table in the dining room (as opposed to the bar area where the tables are all high tops due to us having elderly and young children in the group), the hostess took down that info (I watched her write it all down on what looked to be a scrap piece of paper) and was told it would be an hour wait, which was fine, and I went to sit down. We had planned the dinner to be at 6:30 but a few of us got there early so that way we'd have a shorter wait. As we were waiting we noticed that the hostess was seating multiple smaller tables in the dinning areas even though we didn't see small groups leaving those areas. Finally, at 7pm I went up to our hostess and asked for an update and she said she had been clearing off a long table in the bar area, I stopped her and told her that when I'd come in I'd clarified that we needed to be seated in the dining room, after that all she did was curse under her breath and walk away. Shortly after another woman came out (I assume she was a manager as she wasn't wearing the typical black polo that all the other staff was wearing) and we heard her talking to the hostess and clearly heard her state in a nasty tone "you're kidding, now they're deciding they want the dining room," which really aggravated me since I'd made it clear from the beginning where we wanted to sit and why. This manager then came to us and told us it would be another 45 min for our table and I confronted her, asking why when we'd seen many tables leave and they had clearly been trying to seat us in the wrong spot, which is why they no longer had a table for us, and she said "it's busy, that's just how it is." She then suggested she could seat us at 2 separate tables on opposite sides of the dining room, which was an automatic no since we were celebrating birthday and finally they were able to set us up at a 12 top table with 2 booths right next to it, which we had to settle with since every one was hungry and we didn't really have other options. This same manager came out and assisted our waitress a few times after we sat down and while I didn't experience her first hand I heard from the rest of my family that she had a horrible attitude with everyone for the rest of the night and that she was even rushing our waitress with our service. Our poor waitress had to come out and take drink and food orders all at once for 20 people split between 3 tables, which we didn't request, we would have been perfectly fine getting drinks done first and then ordering food after. Throughout the night the waitress was the only saving grace of the entire experience there.

The food here is good and the staff very friendly and accommodating. The prices are very reasonable also. The decor is very nice and welcoming

Fabulous food, happy and helpful staff (that never seems to turn over) attentive managers, great atmosphere. Love this place! Oh yes, and pre covid prices don't hurt either.

Always treated well by staff. The flavored lemonade is great! Their fajitas can feed two and are amazing!
