K & J Catering

The food was awful. The service was awful. They did not require face masks which is dangerous since I have COPD and I'm at risk.

K&J were amazing to work with for our family wedding. The food and service were excellent. They guided us through the planning of our event for which we received many compliments including the awesome food. Fun and wonderful time for all.

Awesome place to have a party! I had my wedding and reception all at the same place in October 2018. It was a small wedding close to a 100 people. Rented the big room and had the photo shoot in the small banquet room. Very cozy atmosphere. Loved the fireplace and seating area in the larger banquet room. Plenty of room for a dance floor and loved the wonderful staff that were there to help. I can not say enough about the food! Awesome prime rib cooked and carved by the wonderful owners of K & J Catering. Thank you Kurt and Jean! My friends and family had a wonderful time and loved the party - Thank you for making it so extraordinary!

We hosted our 20 year class reunion here this past weekend. Kurt and Jean are awesome to work with and were very accomadating for our group. Food was delicious, staff was great, and venue clean, updated, and beautiful. I would recommend them to everyone!

My complaint is not about the facility, staff, ambiance, food etc. Doubtless my rating would be much higher. But nothing trumps the fact that K&J catering is not connected to the GPS system. Your location @ 2546 7th Avenue East does not register on GPS systems as a legitimate address. Hated to miss an important event there recently due to the lack of a 'legitimate' address.

This will be the location for every party I ever throw the rest of my life! OMG my party was amazing! I threw a 50th birthday party for my husband. Jean met with us to establish an approach to the evening, and she had excellent recommendations. The food was fantastic!!! Plus, they allowed us to bring in our own snack mix, desserts and late-night pizzas. They arranged the tables with table cloths and center pieces. I could have brought my own decorations and center pieces but didn't want to. The lighting was perfect. The hall looked beautiful. The service at the bar was super quick. The size and location of the dance floor is even really important. It's plenty big to accommodate so many of us spending our entire night out there. And with it being at the front of the hall, those who didn't prefer as loud of music, were comfortably visiting at the tables at he back end of the hall. Kurt and Jean were absolutely awesome to work with! Oh and you can hook your photo slideshow up in one spot and it plays on all the tvs. Again, absolutely awesome! I didn't originally plan to have anything big for my 50th. But that was too much fun not to relive! So we'll be back.

I attended a wedding yesterday catered by K & J. I have to say this was by far the best catered food I have ever had. All of it had great flavor, was hot, and plentiful. Many other people were raving about the dinner also. I would highly recommend their catering service for your event.

We visited a few places before deciding where we would book for our Ceremony and Reception location. One we walked in the door it was the same feeling I had when I knew which wedding dress I would wear on my day. This place is amazing. The food, the staff, the ambiance, practical, everything was perfect and memorable.

I went to a wedding a couple weeks ago at this place and its was like being in an outdated bar by about 20 years. The bar looked like to be the only think update in a long time. Also felt very cramped in the space and it was a very small wedding. The chicken was undercooked and the potatos were overcooked and hard. There was also no water service at all which i thought was really weird. At one point a wait staff knocked some clothing off a chair, looked down at it and left it. I dont know how the owners are or any other wait staff so i cant say much about them. I am in the process of looking for a caterer for my wedding next year and thought this was a great opportunity to take a look at on but i was far from impressed. For anyone looking for a caterer, pass up on this place. You will be sorry if you dont.

My wife and I just had our wedding reception and it was catered and bar tended by K & J. These people were fantastic. From the start dealing with Kurt and his wife (the owners) we knew that we had made the right choice. They were so willing to help us with every detail and went above and beyond, giving us samples and then left overs to take home from those samples to working with us to stay in budget and still have a great time. At the venue the staff was spot on. They had a smile at all times and really cared about what they were doing and the quality of food they were offering. They were always there when you needed them and were just plain great! As for the food not one guest left hungry and everyone raved about the red sauce and Champagne Chicken. They give you your money's worth so much so that right now in our fridge we have enough mashed potatoes and pasta sauce and chicken to last us a month. As for the bartenders they did an amazing job keeping up with the constant pressure from liquored up Wisconsinites and did it with poise and such a good attitude. They kept our tab in check and made sure everyone was kept "hydrated". We couldn't have had our night go any smoother or taste any better.
