Tiny but mighty theater! Not a bad velvet covered seat in the house. Came here to see "Speechless" and was not disappointed. The bar and lobby area is beautifully decorated with chandeliers and intricate artwork on the walls. The bar had some beer and wine selections. The coffee was warm but watered down; my grandparents would have loved it. Great area. So many fun restaurant options nearby. But I wasn't a fan of paying $15+ for on street parking for the evening. The price of convenience I guess.

A small wonderful theater! All seats are good seats. Good acoustics, and a GEORGIANA & KITTY was a great show well acted and an interesting teen of events! Thank you for the free hot tea in the lobby on this cold afternoon! Will definitely be back.

My first visit to Jungle Theater was to see "Cambodian Rock Band" with the family. Lots of parking on the street available, really intimate theatre but every seat is perfect here! The restrooms were clean and well stocked. Refreshment stand was modest but there was a water fountain (with cups) if you're thirsty! Check out the local eating establishments before or after the show to support the local economy! The musical, Cambodian Rock Band, was spectacular. So glad we went to watch it. Production quality was magnificent and the show blew me away! Can't wait to come back to Jungle Theater for the next experience.

One of my fav places. I am a huge Jane Austin fan and my first experience here was Miss Bennett. I was sold and became a season ticket holder. I love that it's run by a female, Sarah Rasmussen. She brings creativity, innovation, energy, variety, and thought-provoking theatre to her audiences. The theatre is intimate and every seat is great. Come early and enjoy the eclectic atmosphere along with a huge cookie and glass of wine. Parking is easy with a lot behind the theatre (pay by hour by license plate). Lots of fun places to grab dinner before the show. Always a great night!

Saw the play "Anna in the Tropics" here yesterday and it was soooo good!!! Awesome production, acting and costumes! The theatre is small and intimate, and the seating is awesome...not a bad seat in the house! There is a nice refreshment stand where you can buy snacks, coffee, or alcoholic beverages to enjoy while you watch the play. There is a nice parking lot (pay by the hour) connected to it, which making parking less of a hassle, which can be in uptown! AWESOME and highly recommend!

Such a great venue to have in this neighborhood.Recently saw Connie Evingson perform songs of Peggy Lee.Before going in, I stopped at the ticket counter, assuming that my friends were already there and had left a ticket there for me. The guy behind the counter couldn't find any tickets under the name I gave him, but hurriedly tried to locate them. Not getting quick success, he said he would print out 5 new tickets for me. Around that same time, I got on my cell phone to one person in my group and learned that they were not yet there, and they had the tickets in hand. So I was able to stop the counter guy from printing out more tickets. But that was really great that he was ready to do just that for me. That's awesome customer service!

Even with the passing of JP American Bistro, this theaters is still one of my favorite in the Cities. However, I miss being able to grab a bite or drink before or after a show.Recently saw Hitchcock Blonde. I recommend it, but beware it's 3 hours long so be prepared for a the investment. Oh, and if you understood the ending, would you mind clarifying it for me.Jungle is also doing a promotion with a theater ticket law-a-way program as well as another promotion that is similar to the "pick six" microbrew deals -- but i can't remember the details, so check out the site.

I saw Venus in Fur and really had a good time. The seats were comfortable and the sound quality was nice. I have to say that the quirky decorations were a pleasant surprise. A fun tree with apples in the front lobby and modern sculptures of abstract shapes and silly figures adorn the walls outside the theater. This is definitely a place I look forward to visiting again.

Unbelievable experience tonight. I got to the theater 40 minutes before the show and went to the parking lot that they recommend behind the theater but the Minneapolis parking app didn't accept the number that they tell you to put in as the zone. So I had to venture out in the cold and dark by myself to use the machine, which was of course filthy. One machine was completely out the second machine I tried two different credit cards three times each and it didn't work either. The man next to me was on the other machine and he tried to use cash, but there was no place to put dollar bills. It only took coins. What kind of a machine only takes coins these days? so I went into the theater to talk to management about what to do and two people from the actors group were at the front desk because nobody from jungle theater management showed up. So they didn't really know what to do. And I couldn't get my money back, of course. And the concession stand wasn't open because there was no staff. 30 minutes later, the actors, Group told us that no staff from the jungle theater would be on site this evening. No concessions no assistance no help if somebody got hurt or sick nothing. No one. I will certainly go there again but the only bright spot was that right next-door was a wonderful place called Iconos. Their staff was charming. Their food was wonderful. Their atmosphere was great and so I had a drink there went back for the play and then returned to Econo afterwards to have dinner. Frankly, they save the day for me. Otherwise I would've probably just gone home and not even bothered with the play. Never ever go to jungle theater. But whatever you do try to go to Iconos, they're Female wonderful.
