Pros: Friendly staff, pretty fast serviceCons: Nothing majorDetails: Came here on a visit to Minnesota. This is a mom and pop type spot. The decor is similar to that style and kind of an older family restaurant vibe. The food was pretty good, I would want to try some other items to say if it was great or not. We were seated fast and had Friendly staff. I liked that there was a little library there too.

Been awhile. We found the same Great Staff and same Great Food. On a Hot Day, plenty cool inside and relaxing atmosphere as well.Same friendly interaction even though everyone seemed really busy here. This old fashioned diner in strip mall is worth a stop.Food was hot plentiful and just in time. Service was what we wanted. From old retired truck drivers, we knew. What a great experience.A late breakfast, early afternoon right before closing time and this spot was packed full. A spot to make you like the old fashioned ways. You can see, too.Thank You J's

We absolutely loved this place. We are there twice while on our trip there. Its family owned and operated. They have a lot of loyal customers that they know by name. The staff there are very friendly. Food was great. We really enjoyed the home style cooking and flavor. Skillets were great, i loved my Sour Dough French Toast. This place can really put some meat on your bones. Everything was delicious.

A small family owned restaurant! We had lunch there today and the pork tenderloin sandwich was the best I've had in a long time (says alot being from Indiana !) the bun was toasted and tons of perfect toppings ( pickles, tomato and onions) Our waitress was a doll and very attentive! Well worth the little trip !

J's makes the claim that they are the "Best breakfast in Town".I'm happy to say they are right. The service was friendly, but the food was excellent!!I have the "Colelette's omelette" and it was delicious. The egg were fresh, the omelette was fluffy and cook to perfection, the side of bacon was crispy and full of favor. If you are in Eagan and you don't make it by J's... Shame on you!!

J's Restaurant is an old school, original staple of Burnsville. The owners are amazing, food is outstanding and the ambiance is up to par with what an old school diner would present as. I'm still trying to get my name on the menu, but the Collette's Omelette is amazing (you can say stupid omelette and receive the same thing). Support this family owned business and enjoy great food while doing so!
