Don't sign a contract. They promise to service your home quarterly, but don't complete the tasks they say they would. When I told then I am not happy with their level of service, they said I would have to pay them 80% of the remainder of the contract. Apparently someone came out today, even though I have an appt scheduled in 9 days. Very shady service.

Has anyone noticed when reading these reviews that Customer Service "Shannon" gives the same answer every time....."It's certainly in no one's best interest for the terms of the agreement to not be communicated clearly, and we're sorry that happened". Yet the company does nothing to remedy unhappy customer after unhappy customer as it relates to their "entrapment" contract. Hey Shannon, anyone can cut and paste that answer (which means nothing more than WE DON'T REALLY CARE), so don't bother using that one on me. Instead, I will contact Jason Walton and let him know that honesty and integrity are not part of his family of companies, particularly in St. Paul, Minnesota. I think it's time for the Attorney Generals office to get involved.

Please avoid this company. I suspected mice in my garage but never saw mice nor evidence of mice. Called Joshua's to have them diagnose what might be making the noises that had me concerned. Technician set bait traps for mice without inspecting the property at all to figure out the problem. He was here less than 10 minutes. I had them out again for the warranty visit. Same thing. Did not inspect the property, just set out more bait traps. I was very disappointed that I was not provided the service I needed and asked for. When I called to cancel, I was told I had to pay 80% of my remaining contract, even though I did not receive the service I signed up for. The sales rep I spoke with to cancel was extremely rude and did not acknowledge that I was not getting the service I asked for. Their service at my home was minimal and their phone service even worse. Do not use this company!

I was using Eco shield for over a year and had no issues, one day a rep from Joshua's stopped by and offered me a better price to use their service and because the rep was nice and what I thought was informative I agreed to try them and canceled my other service, I have had them out 4 times, the first was pretty good I even left a good review for the tech. The next time they came out he was done in about 10ish minutes, did not get the spider webs out (like Eco shield does every time) and seemed to not be near as thorough as the other place, so I had to have them come out to do a "warranty " service for the spiders and it did not do a thing. The last time they came out about 3 weeks ago the person was apparently done in 12 mins according to them (yet the people at home said she was there for 5 min) either way to quick for the size of my house. I called to cancel the service and they now want to charge me a cancelation fee for early cancelation...for bad service and it does not even do anything I needed them for (unless it just because they run through so fast), either way, signing a contract to keep you hand tided even when the service does not work is very wrong. And the "account manager" was worthless to talk to. If you have bad service or lied to about what they can do compared to the original service, you should not be bullied, or threaten with extra charges for canceling the service. I would use anyone but Joshua's at this point and you can thank whoever that so call "account manager" is, she was not helpful and refused to let me talk to anyone else, because she is the "ACCOUNT MANGER" her words. P.S. I have never left a negative review until now.!

I have the same complaints as everyone else. Oversold on a service that was under-delivered. If you cancel, you must pay 80% of all future service costs for that year. My advice to anyone who is pressured into this pest control service is to cancel within 3 days of signing up and you can avoid any ridiculous penalty fee.

Horrible company! The pet-safe granules made our dog throw up and there was no reduction in mice. When we called to cancel they threatened to send us to a collection agency if we didn't pay 80% of the remaining contract. I was taught that if your customer is dissatisfied, you refund at least a prorated amount because you stand behind your service. But if the service stinks, I guess you have to stand behind your contract. AVOID THIS SERVICE.

Horrible service, and even worse customer service! I signed up with a door to door salesman, told us they would like us to commit to a year but we could cancel if we were not happy. After 5 months I wanted to cancel, was charged $386.66 for early termination (of what)? I would run, not walk to get away from a business like this! Jason Walton the owner is running for Senate in Utah, I even reached out to him for help.....have heard nothing. I've opened a complaint with the Attorney General of Minnesota. Unethical service like this has no place here! I was with Adam's pest control for years and never had a problem, so sorry I decided to try Joshua's. All attempts at resolution have been met with "unfortunately" we can't do anything. The number for the local office routes you to call center and you just keep getting spun around spit out. Consumer BEWARE!
