Best Ruben sandwich I've ever had! Great bar, friendly people! Drinks are generous they have an awesome selection! Potato salad is the best side!

Best ... Perch... Ever!!! Everytime we come up north, we make it a Friday ritual to go eat the biggest juiciest pieces of perch in ALL of WI. I can't believe they're selling this place... I sure hope the sweet local perch hookup continues through the transition!!

Best fish fry in the Northwoods. Downtown Mercer, South side of Hwy 51. Order the Perch fish fry with potato pancake (a must). Comes with marble rye bread & Cole slaw. They serve fish fry all day for you lunch & early dinner diners.Neat & clean...soup is good too.Kyle & crew will take good care of you.

Extremely polite and personable service. Pool tables and plenty of seating. Great food but a limited menu. I would consider this a place to pop in and out to get a feel for the local culture.

Johnny's has been one of my favorite bars as long as I can remember, even eating lunch there as a kid. The current owner, Kyle, is a great guy and an even better bartender. The food is fantastic, juke box packed, and there are nice televisions for game watching during cabin trips. Ladies, our bathroom is clean and fresh all the time. Stop in next time you're in the area, it's a classic in the area with good burgers and great taps.*Fairly certain they take credit cards now, but there's an atm inside anyway.

Great conversation, good food and fresh beer. A must if your in the area. All menu items are on point. Have been here many times over the years and they treat you like family from day one. Curds and wings are a must and when in season the chili Is the way to go.

It was okay. Your typical northern Wisconsin bar filled with locals. Food was your average bar food dishes.

This place has improved greatly since Kyle bought it. The food is really good and the place is clean. The best fish fry around at a reasonable price. Always good conversation at the bar.
