JJ Fish & Chicken

First time trying this place. Food was delivered to my job.Both the chicken and fries had lots of seasoning. The chicken wasn't dry but the seasoning as you can see was put on pretty heavy in same spots.Fries were limp and soft. Again decent with the seasoning. I recommend a try if you're looking for something different than popeyes or KFC.

Jerk chicken and rice was a pleasant surprise.One night I was craving "crack wings," a signature dish of JJ's, so I ordered them. I patiently waited for the restaurant to accept , and then prep my order. Then waited for a Dash driver driver to be elected, to pick up my order, and be on the way. I was excited as wings are my favorite, and not many places have such the quality when it comes to a traditional whole wing. I finally get the notification that my order is dropped off, so I rush to the door, grab my food, tip the driver, and proceed to set up my food placement. Everything's, a goo.... As I have my favorite hot sauces, for the wings and honey mustard and bbq for the fries. I open up the styrofoam container, and SURPRISE, it's full of rice, peas, chicken, and some other vegetables. NOT Fried ChickenAfter crying, and stewing in my dissatisfaction, I then tried this rice dish for reasons of hunger, and limited options; and it turned out to be the Jerk Rice Dinner which is

Chicken and fries are delicious as we ordered a trays of 50 wings for the family! Services is not the greatest but their still on average since there's not many workers during the time I was there. Take a while for the order to complete, just have to be patient and let them do their job, overall rating's, I recommend this business. Keep up the good work, and please improve the wait time if possible. :)

I order the19.99 chicken, shrimp, bread and fries Friday.26 of may.. On the review it says I was going to get 7 pieces of chicken but I only received 4 and the chicken wings was very very tiny..The chicken and shrimp wasn't seasoned.. That's how terrible the food was...I will never ever order from this place again..I wouldn't even send my worst enemies their

I treat myself to some fried foods once in awhile just to remember what heaven on earth taste like.It was Chicago J Fish and Chickens turn this evening.They have a special ,3 pieces of wings,1 piece of fish,fries and a drink for $7.55 including taxes.Cant beat that deal!Everything was fried to perfection.The wings were a tad bit small but they had very good flavor.They asked me if I wanted lemon pepper,to which I replied yes,lots.That lemon pepper stuff is really good.I know it's probably not the best ingredient wise,but the flavor is off da chain! They give you a choice of Catfish,Tilapia or white fish.I chose the Catfish and it was done right!The fries had some sort of breading/seasoning on them and they were okay.Chicago J Fish and Chicken got 3 stars because of the environment.The lobby and tables could have used some cleaning.For originality with seasonings and the frying of the food,they were average.You can't go wrong with Chicago J when it comes to fried foods.I will be back to try their meat lovers gyro.

DO NOT EAT HERE!!! I usually order the catfish and wing meal with extra lemon pepper on my fish and wings. Today I wanted to change things up and get something different, so I ordered the gyro cheese fries and a pizza puff through UberEats. As you can see from the pics I posted that was a mistake! There was a piece of aluminum on my puff and hair in my cheese fries, I AM DISGUSTED! Thankful that my money was refunded, so save your money and don't order fromthis disgusting establishment.

I LOVE wings! I was in the neighborhood and wanted wings so I stopped here. I ordered the six piece meal that comes with fries and two slices of bread. There were two people already there when I came in. One person had already ordered and the second person was ordering when I walked in. I placed my order and waited, and wait, and waited... I went up to the counter because I noticed a meal had been sitting in the pass and when I got there I asked if it was mine. Well of course it was mine because I was the only person there at this point. I had asked for it to go so I left. When I got to my car I opened the meal and tried a couple of fries and they were already getting cold (probably from sitting there for who knows how long). The wings were not the best flavor wise. If you want wings and are in a hurry, this is NOT the place to go.

The best sandwiches on the north side. Or get $200 worth of wings for your next party. Either way, you will not be sorry.

The food was fresh. (I saw them cooking) the prices are reasonable! (Very reasonable). Don't come if you are looking for a fine-dining experience... just nice food better than any drive thru.
