Stopped in Thursday, 10/24/24 around 9:30pm. Place was packed- the MN Vikings game was on. Couldn't find a table in the bar area inside so we decided to sit outside on the patio (thank goodness for the heaters... it was COLD). Took a little while for a waitress but when she arrived she was friendly and eager to help. We ordered a bunch of appetizers- wings, potato poppers, and Italian dunkers. Everything was good. The menu has lots to offer and many specials. I noticed bingo is offered twice a week. Huge restaurant- tons of seating. Pull-tabs are available for playing. If I'm in the area, I'd stop in for a visit.

Disappointed. One slice of turkey. I got the half turkey with wild rice soup. Josh ordered hot turkey melt which smelled and looked delicious! My plate however was beyond disappointing. I love Jimmy's and have ordered the turkey sandwich many times before and it was a thick amazing delicious sandwich. This was a waste of my time.. so sad . We thought Joshua's sandwich was going to be a turkey melt since its called a hot turkey sandwich but instead it was sliced turkey with mash and gravy. My husband described it as a taste of Thanksgiving. Will definitely try it whenever I come back. But that will be in a few months. I need time to forget this crappy turkey sandwich. Waitress was nice service was great atmosphere was perfect as always.

It was 9:30pm on a Sunday and I regretted not getting wings for dinner earlier in the evening. Luckily, a search for wings on Yelp returned a place open late two minutes from my hotel: Jimmy's Food & Drink. I gave the menu a quick glance, noticed that they not only had wings but walleye fingers as an appetizer, and thought why not, I'll order both.I wanted to get half of the wings with Cajun rub and half with jerk rub, like you can do at most restaurants when you order at least a dozen, but was told they don't do that. I didn't have a preference on which one to go with, so I let the person taking my order choose. They said they thought the Cajun rub had more flavor, so I went with that. If you like light Cajun flavor with minimal heat, these wings would suit you well. When I eat Cajun or jerk flavored things, however, I'd like to have my mouth and lips tingle for more than just a second or two. Doubling up on the amount of rub used wouldn't be a bad thing for Jimmy's to consider.The walleye fingers were ok. I liked the crispiness of the batter and thought the portion was fair for the price. I don't eat tartar sauce, though, so the flavor was pretty mild without something else to dip them in. If you like tartar sauce, these would probably be fantastic.I was told my order would be ready in about 15 minutes. Even though the dining area was almost completely empty and just the bar had a bunch of people in it, my order took 25 minutes. Not a huge inconvenience, but not the most accurate estimate either.

Stopped here on a recommendation from a friend. Came during Thursday bingo and despite being crazy busy the wait staff (Jo An) was amazing keeping up with our drinks. They have an excellent happy hour and the food was perfect. We didn't win at bingo but would absolutely come here again. The manger (Eric) even stopped by to check on us. If I could give 6 stars if I could. The berry margarita is a must.

I arrived earlier than my buddy and wandered around the large restaurant/bar areas and thought it a bit odd that, not even after 10 minutes waiting for a friend, did someone offer to assist, seat me, anything. The staff certainly appeared to be having enjoyable conversations at the end of the bar...certainly enjoyable enough to ignore an arriving guest.Our orders of a Taco Salad and a Breakfast Burrito arrived quickly and looked OK. Unfortunately, my salad was so full of lettuce stems it was a waste of money. Neither the small bits of beef (hamburger) nor the PLASTIC TUBE tube of sour cream (an absolute 3rd rate presentation that should be reserved for gas station dining, not a "full service" restaurant) could make things better. I didn't even try tasting the greasy looking shell. Early service was OK though we were never approached to check on what else we might need...I would gladly have tried another plastic container of salsa to generate some flavor. My credit card sat on the table for more than 10 minutes before it was picked up/processed. And the restroom? Lousy by any standard and the restaurant hadn't been 30% occupied. Maybe some of the chatting staff could have been checking it? Or maybe a manager? No luck.Obviously a lousy experience for us and anyone interested in a simple, well done lunch. Skip Jimmy's unless you're one of the regulars who receive good service at the bar or are completely driven by the low pricing. Low pricing does not mean good value at this restaurant...unless you believe plastic tubes of sour cream are a good idea. These guys are definitely into portion control but I can help with that...don't order anything in the first place. There must be better nearby options. Do your best to find one.
