I'm surprised to give them 5 stars. This location is inside the Midtown Global market. It looks like they sell allot of slices and sandwiches. I had already eaten but needed something for a late dinner. Take and bake pizzas were available. I purchased the mushroom Florentine pizza. It was made fresh and quickly. Service was efficient and friendly. The pizza was packed with mushrooms. I was disappointed that the spinach looked like either frozen our old slimy spinach. The crust was very thin.I considered not even cooking it but I didn't want to go out. 15 minutes in a 400 degree oven. An amazing pizza. This was a great pizza. It didn't really look like there was sauce but there was something yummy and garlicky. I easily could have eaten the whole pie. It was so good. The crust was very thin and cracker like but it worked. Kudos for an amazing pizza!!

Jakeeno's Trattoria is extraordinary. This place is awesome at what it does. My friend ordered Italian Stacker, that I tried and also loved. It was really delicious. Team is super courteous and will help you with anything. Definitely recommended for a stop!

Good food, crappy customer service on Sunday.First, the food was surprisingly good from a kiosk type of setup. I had an Italian Hoagie and Creamy Tomato Soup w/basil and fresh bread. The food was excellent.Second, the customer service was pretty bad and a little weird. I actually timed the dude because he was so slow. I stood for almost ten minutes simply waiting to be greeted or acknowledged in some way. It turned out, he was cooking a previous party's order, but he didn't say "hi"..."I'll be with you in a couple of minutes"...or anything like that. After he finished their order, he actually LEFT and delivered food to come other kiosks! Once he returned he greeted me, took my order, and I waited another 5 minutes for the food. While he was cooking my order, I saw a large family come up, stand around, and look confused that no one was greeting or talking to them. So I wasn't the only one with this experience.I'm not sure if I should be angry at the guy's poor customer service skills or feel sorry for him for not having more help...or a little of both.If it wasn't for the fact that I was STARVING and in the mood for Italian, I would have left after the first few minutes of not being greeted. But the food was great.-Daddy Maxx Retro

My sister and I decided to explore the midtown global market in hopes of finding a new place to eat at and since they give you free parking in the ramps up to three hours why not?Jakeeno's had a sign outside of their place listing off specials and I thought to give it a whirl with the Italian Stacker which is off their menu but for $3dollars it was a steal the warm onion bun and the 3-4 different meats (i totally forgot whats on it) and the gooey cheese that strings out when you take a bite from the sandwich. I also decided to get a order of the cheese bread because it was a buck. Nothing special but it did taste good with the homemade marinara sauce to dip with.Props to the guy working because it was just him and another girl I noticed while I sat there eatting my food and they were scrambling to help customers during the lunch rush which they did a awesome job considering it was only the two of them.

This is a perfect spot to try out in the Midtown Global Market. So far I haven't been disappointed as they claim that all their menu selections are made from scratch. They do a good job of catering to the business crowd nearby too and offer box lunches and a catering menu with several great combo's for serving larger groups. I was impressed with their pizza. We ordered some in over a business lunch and had a variety to choose from. The crust was crispy and not too thick. My favorite was the Greek pizza topped with artichokes, calamata olives and feta cheese on a olive oil & garlic base. I just couldn't get enough! When I'm just hungry for something light I think their Gorgonzola, pear and walnut salad is one of the best. It's served with a light vinaigrette and the greens and fruit are always fresh. I go with the smaller version ($3.75) which I think is plenty for lunch but if you really have an appetite go with the larger size ($7.25) or compliment it with some of their toasty cheese bread. Their pizza by the slice ($3.75-4.25) is pretty tempting too. Lots of great options at this place.

I like jakeenos and I visit frequently as I work in the market. However this one employee keeps messing up my order. (tall thin black guy, not sure of his name) I don't know if the employee is new or is in desperate need of training. I usually get the hoagies or a salad. This guy has messed my order up so many times I'm just not going to eat here anymore when he is working. I ordered an Italian hoagie with all of the toppings and I got bread, ham and lettuce... The second time I got the correct meat, lettuce, tomatoes and onions. Still no sauce or cheese.

What a great little spot in the midtown global market! They have a cute little Italian style area to sit and eat, complete with red checkered table cloths and wine bottle melty candles too.The garlic chicken pizza was creamy and had the perfect thin crust. I've also tried their Chicago dog and it was pretty authentic even if it's not the 1st thing you think of at an Italian place. The Italian hoagie was amazing with 3 different types of fresh deli meat and on fresh baked bread to die for.Last week when I was sick, I ate here 3 days in a row just having only soup. The creamy tomato was so soothing but the minestrone was my fave and I think helped me feel better sooner. The soup comes with this great crunchy bread that I couldn't get enough of. The owner was so nice and felt so bad for me being sick he gave me a free bonus get well soup!BTW, they won the global chili cook-off this year with their white bean chicken chili, which I hope they'll put on the menu one day.

The subs were awesome! I am by NO means a vegetarian, however, the veggie sub looked so good I couldn't resist ordering it and I did not regret it. It was juicy and so very flavorful I craved it for days. The trattoria is the small, kiosk style, version of the restaurant in Midtown Global. Their food does not fall short though. With so many options in this market I was happy to have chosen this. The only reason I give thus such a crappy rating and maybe should have gone lower was on 1 occurrence we waited to order and no one ever showed up, another the girl was too busy sitting down with her family to ever help and another the guy was in the process of making a dish and didn't acknowledge us even after looking us directly in the eyes . I think I'd suggest going to the restaurant on 36th and Chicago for a taste.

Working within walking distance of the Midtown Global Market was so fucking awesome. I looked forward to the leisurely walk there, ordering my hot slice of mushroom and truffle oil pizza at Jakeeno's, wiping the truffle oil of my chin with my fingers and sucking it off of them, and then taking an even more leisurely walk back to my shitty cubicle. At some point, though, they started making individual slices of the pizza; using cold pieces of cheese pizza that they would individually top and then reheat. Really unappealing. Unknowingly, I ordered my usual slice and then watched them prepare it in this fashion. I stepped away as not to have to watch it get nuked in the microwave, and then it was presented. I didn't see any truffle oil on it - usually it is slicked on like it doesn't cost $94875829 per bottle - but this time it was noticeably UN-oily. I sat down and bit into it, tasting no oil. This won't do.I went back to the counter to ask them to put some oil on. Dude got all defensive about it: "It's on there." Well I didn't see any and then I tasted it... *Dude begrudgingly drizzles some on my pizza* "It's just that truffle oil is REALLLLLLLLYYYY expensive right now so..."Bitch, what?! Look, I'm sorry that you didn't realize how heavy-handed your people were with your admittedly pricy oil until just now, but that doesn't mean that you get to bemoan the prices to your customers when they ask you for more because none was put on to begin with. Damn.So I haven't been back there since because dude was rude and the pizza wasn't great, even with the damn oil drizzle he honored me with at the end of it all. Bummer. Because it used to be the shit. :(

I was fighting the hangover from hell and out of all the choices at MGM, pizza was calling my name.I walked up to the counter and asked the man working what pizzas they were offering by the slice. He pointed me in the direction of the toppings list. Slightly confused, I ordered a piece of plain cheese and then saw him go back and make the individual piece! Really nice for when you're craving a personalized slice and don't want to commit to a whole pizza.
