They have both Indian market and cafe in there location. They maintain the area well and have good service. The cafe has good food and place is clean. But sometime the food taste keeps swinging. Depends on chef who is cooking. Overall they it's a good place

This is what they call an 'extra-golden' samosa. As far as I know, it is burnt and the filling inside was extremely dry. Their cafe started out as a promising place to get fresh Indian food. Lately, their quality of food has dropped drastically. I wanted to bring something to a friends house and this is all they had.

They had wide range of varieties in the buffet except that part nothing was good.Food was cold & taste was not up to expectations. Service was not good at all, they were just concentrating on getting the line refilled but didn't pay any attention to customers nor the getting the feedback on food. Food was cold, didn't clear the used plates from the tables, this list would go long...

It doesn't surprise me that mine is only the second review for this hidden treasure in Eagan. My Indian friends let me in on the secret, and while I wish nothing but amazing success for this cafe, part of me wants to keep it on the down low so that it doesn't become too busy to maintain the exceptional quality they currently have. My friends were ecstatic to find India Bazaar, for the grocery as well as the amazing food. I was thrilled that they serve dosas after 5 PM, since they're becoming harder and harder to find. With the large population of Indian immigrants in Eagan, I've been disappointed with the larger restaurants which seem to cater more to the sensitive Minnesota palate than the Indian population. This is an efficient, spare operation that puts all the focus on the food. Fine by me! The food choices are in a deli case with about 15 rotating dishes. Naan and puri are made to order, no dried out bread in a buffet line here. We shared chicken curry, mutton curry, an okra and peanut dish as well as a cauliflower side. Everything was vibrant and spicy-and by spicy I mean bountiful flavor with just enough heat to make things interesting. The mutton and chicken both were cooked with bone in, which makes for juicy meat that doesn't dry out. Careful with the smaller bones eating these dishes. Not everything was labeled for the uninitiated like me, but it was all delicious. There were packages of spiced nuts and cookies on the counter that were tempting, but I was only interested in the savory delights. There are two bowl sizes, and tasting is permitted before making a decision. The bowls are delivered overflowing, and a small serving could easily be shared with two. Several people stopped in on a Sunday afternoon to pick up large trays of catered food, and I don't doubt that's a lucrative business for them. Heads up, better to have cash since they'll charge you the difference for credit card processing fees. Staff is pleasant and efficient. I couldn't be happier that I need only drive two miles to get authentic, delicious Indian food.

Racist/Islamophobic.I usually have been getting grocerries from them, and on 23rd October 5:00 p.m. there was rush, there were two counters and there was billing being done on both. There appeared to be two different lines each for one counter as I saw people joining into the both lines, one was long and one was short and I went and asked the guy at the counter with a shorter line if there are two different lines or a single line and he said there is supposed to be a single line but people are creating a 2nd line for his counter and I can join his counter line at the end which I did. All the conversation till now has been in English. Then someone complained in Telugu about there being a confusion if there is a single line or two and the lady at the other counter comes over to this guy and speaks about the 2nd line(still in telugu) and asks everyone 2 people ready to checkout before me, myself and people behind me to join the end of the single line(now in English). I mentioned that I did ask the guy at the counter if there were two lines or a single one and that he did ask me to join this line, to which he plainly denied(in telugu) "Nenu atlantidi emi cheppaledu", because I was in a pathani and my wife was in a burkha it doesn't mean I don't understand and speak Telugu. Then they both counter employees singled out me and asked me and everyone behind me to join the line at the end. Infact the guy at the counter clearly says to the two people before me "These people can stay but from you please join the line at the end". Why were the 2 people before me not asked to join the line at the end. I was originally in the line and after confirming with him that there is a separate line for his counter I joined his counter line and now he clearly denies in telugu that he hasn't said anything of such sort and I did loose my position in the original line. I was so pissed off, I just walked out of there.Singling out and discriminating people based on dressing, religion is definitely not acceptable in this country and for a business to thrive you need to treat all customers equally. Do you think yours is the only Indian grocerries store here? With the growing Indian/Pakistani community we have quite a few Indian stores here like TBS mart in Bloomington, Desi Stores in Eagan, LittleIndia and Pooja grocers on Central Ave to name a few. Also, just an FYI, Maa amma putti perigindi Vijayawada lo, chinnappudu nunchi nenu urdu lo enta maatladaano telugu lo kuda ante maatladaanu, oka vyakti battalnu patti vaalaku mana bhaasha raadule ani telugu lo meeku ishtam vochche laa maatlaadakudadu.I hope, I never get to go your store again.

This review is for the little restaurant at the India Bazaar. It's a pretty bare bone place when it comes to the ambience, but who cares when you can have delicious authentic food. They save cost when it comes to the ambience, but transfer the value to the customer by offering affordable pricing and great quantity.Best bang for your buck.

Their takeout food is getting worse and worse and food is not tasty anymore. My kid got sick eating the food. I'm not sure if they are serving any fresh protein and fresh vegetables anymore.
