In Vino Veritas

Tried a new wine bar in the "burbs"Was surprised how busy it was at 8.00pm on a Saturday night- live music was playing and there were only a couple seats left at the bar so we snagged those and were greeted by one of the owners who was super friendly. The service was very good even though it only looked like 3 people were working - they were very busy but did not show itThey have an extensive wine list which is nice and decent price range from $12 upwards.The Rosè I had was pretty good and the Cab Sauv my date had was good too!The music was pretty loud - only on weekends I think , but when the crowds dispersed it felt more like an intimate wine bar- so I imagine during the week this would be a great place to meet up with friends and family.Did not get to try any food as we had just come from dinner but they did have some amazing smelling bread boards I would be willing to try!The owners are a husband and wife team who are very down to earth and like they get to know everyone who visits A cute place in Shoreview- when in the area I will stop by

Great attentive staff!Cozy areas to sit.Live music!!!Yummy wine choices.Not a lot of nibble choices, but the complimentary chips were addicting. :)

Stopped in finally as it's really close to my house on the lake. I'm not huge into wine but wanted to give it a shot. I was just impressed by the attentive staff who had a good knowledge of the menu. We both tried one of the interesting wines one white and one red They were lovely. We got a charcuterie board as well and it was a generous helping. The complementary chips were also a nice touch. It has a nice ambiance to it and was nice and relaxing to sit back snack and drink w lovely glass of wine.

Lovely place in Shoreview, I enjoyed 2 very good red zinfandels. I've been telling my bf I'm ready to go anytime.

Food, service, ambience and wine! I'm visiting from Portland Oregon and was thrilled to find Shoreview has a wine bar. In Vino Veritas exceeded my expectations with a diverse wine, boards and desert menu. Wine isn't your thing? Ask the owner what her favorite drink is on the Gin Cart menu.

This place is a real hidden gem! At first glance it looks to be a high end wine bar but it's so much more than that. The interior design is so lovely and unique and the overall relaxed atmosphere makes you feel like you just found your very own 'Cheers'. The owners are fantastic people, the staff takes care of anything you need. I've only been there a handful of times and they all know my name and bring my favorite beverage right out to me. The food - oh, my - the food! It looks like it was created by a 5 star chef. And it's SO good!Live music Saturday nights, Thursday karaoke (I finally did it for the very first time!), private parties and lots of special events. You have to check out this place. Soon it'll become your 'Cheers' as well!

This is a very cute spot. There is a bar and casual living room seating. The chairs are comfy, the lighting is soft and the music is beautiful! I hear they have karaoke , but we didn't stay for that!The menu is EXTENSIVE! I found my favorite Italian red! But at 52$ a glass... no thanks. (A bottle is 65 at TW). I chose a flight of Italian reds ... it was delicious. It was also 38$. I got a tasting of a new one I'll need to buy!We shared the bread board, and it was delicious! I highly recommend! The spinach dip accompanying the bread was fantastic!!Will I go back? Maybe. It's so cute, but not really in the budget to spend 14-18$ on a glass of wine. Karaoke sounds fun... but again... is only one glass enough to help me sound good? Probably not.Check it out! It's fun seeing cool little places out in the 'burbs!

A bit over priced in my opinion as the pours are not large. Interesting options of wine and small plate food. It is very dark inside, but the decorating is fun. Furniture is cute, but not necessarily comfortable. Very friendly and accommodating bartender/server. I think an outdoor patio would be a great option...lots of colorful flowers and music to drown out the street noise! It has a lot of potential!

After mentioning with my wife how we needed to visit this place. we finally got around to doing it this week. Not disappointed at all. Excellent choices of wine. Pizza was very tasty. We also had some breadsticks with spinach dip.Very friendly and helpful server. Nice comfortable setting.

This place has all the cozy vibes plus a wide variety of wine and THC drinks and products. The owners work the bar and are very n knowledgeable about wines to try. They have live music! The band I saw was called The Limns and they made they honestly tipped the scale to make a good night a fantastic one! The overall experience was fantastic and I saw the Limns again at the skyway theater. A great place for date night! Or just a fun night out with friends.
