Hutch Bowl

Went here on New Year's Day, a Tuesday, with my BF. Neither of us had been there before, so we went up to the counter & were asked our shoe size. Got our shoes & was told we were assigned to lane 1. Normally when I go bowling, I've paid first, but this is a small town bowling alley so I figure just roll with it. Punny right?! Anyways, we see the pricing board that says Tuesday special, $6 for 3 games. So, we bowl our three games, and go to return our shoes & pay. Guy tells us $30...ummm. We bring up the special on their sign. He tells us that doesn't apply on holidays. We ask where it says that. Not on the sign or anywhere on the counter. He tells us "it's been that way for 20 years." Cause we are just supposed to know that?! We paid the $30 but we won't be going back. It's not that dang difficult to properly display your prices!

We were hoping to get a lane during free bowl but it was quite busy. I can understand busy, but I don't understand how the staff can simply ignore customers waiting at the counter. We waited patiently and finally got the attention of a worker who acted like we should have known there was a wait list. It's great they are busy, but they need to treat customers like they want us to come back when it's not busy. Sadly, we won't be back.

I've had great experiences here in the past; friendly staff, great prices, and good food. However, they play really inappropriate music during their "Thunder Alley"

Drove an hour to bowl here and even called ahead. When we showed up, the employee told us that they are closing early. We told him we had drove a long way to come and he wouldn't allow us to be there. Very disappointed. Looked like a fun alley but won't be returning due to poor customer service.
