What a fantastic restaurant find! There is truly a wide range of food varieties to suit any craving and each one is truly phenomenal! We have eaten at a tremendous amount of restaurants, always looking for something new and House of Wong is, definitely, right up there. The service could not be better and more accommodating. The menu items are wonderful (not to mention the fried chicken - YUM). The prices are so extremely reasonable, especially, in this day of price gouging out there - you cannot go wrong here!

This place has been here forever, family has been going forever, it feels unchanged to me. I do need to write about something important today. On a recent visit, I was horrified to see styrofoam in use for take-out. No one has used styrofoam in a decade. It is made out of petroleum. It is (factually) poisonous. It takes forever to biodegrade. It is ancient history. Please change to paper take-out containers. There are a number of options these days. There is another kind made of corn starch that is almost like plastic in feel, but it is corn. Thank you very much.

I have eaten here many times over the years, but it has been awhile. Their restaurant is in a new location within the same strip mall, and I'm told there are new owners. The new space seems smaller but, ironically, does not feel as cozy inside as the previous venue. Their menu is still extremely large with an incredible variety of food - Chinese, American, Italian - there's something for everyone. They still have very large portions so we had multiple to go boxes. It was not busy at all on a Sunday night for dinner and, while the food came out fairly fast, the overall service was only medium. Also, the booth was not clean. Overall, it seems as if the quality of the space and the food has gone downhill. I'm sad to say that if tonight was my first visit ever to this restaurant, I would not rush back.

The decline of Chinese dining isn't apparent here. For years - -I'm not kidding-- I've been looking for the type of Chinese food I grew up with. There are many reasons for its decline. That's another story. But now in Roseville the food brings me back to the old days when the superb food was dished out at the Nankin in a Minneapolis. My only problem was getting in the door. The front doors must have been designed by the engineers who built Fort Knox! They weigh a ton and there's no electric opener. Once inside, it was lovely. The tables are far enough apart to navigate over the firm carpet. Service was prompt as we were presented a very large menu selection of Chinese, American and Italian entrees. The specials alone are numerous. My impression is it's the type of place where nearly anyone can find a dish to enjoy. My wife is a vegan and she enjoyed Szechuan tofu stir fry. I chose the #1 combo: Chicken chow mein, egg foo yung, and an egg roll. The servings are huge. I took home half of my meals and enjoyed it even more the second time around the next day. As we were about to bag our left overs the server asked what kind of pie we wanted. It turns out our meals included a slice of pie not listed on the menu. I took a piece of banana cream and and apple. I doubt if many leave here hungry. It's fair to say all of the food was delicious. As I said earlier, it brought me back to when we had good Chinese food, not altered by the hybrids with other cuisines. But for the fans of American or Italian food; I'll have to review some of that later.

A word of mouth recommendation. The grapevine didn't disappoint. Easy location and ample parking is a perk. The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. Scarlett was a gem.

What can be better than an updated Roseville landmark, comfort Chicken Chow Mein shared with your best friend, served about one minute after we ordered! We shared and still couldn't eat all of it! Seems like they've been in business a hundred years. A well-oiled machine! While you are eating, order takeout to go!

The food is hot, fresh, and incredibly delicious. The orange chicken tastes like orange and the sesame chicken has the perfect crispness! It tastes like a little cardamom is added to the egg rolls, which are more packed with meat and vegetables than I expected! The young man who took my order also took several others and had such an awesome and impeccably professional demeanor. I wish I could've tipped more. The quiet dining room with soft music and soft but not dim lighting gives you the most incredible experience. I personally don't like to eat out because of feeling self conscious with others watching, but the booths have incredible privacy. My partner and both our mothers are going to make this our go-to place from now on! Kudos to everyone behind this fantastic establishment!

The staff looked like they were pulled out of the gutter to save this slop-house money. The food isn't just lack-luster, it's disgusting. Let's start with the fried rice, it's really just white rice with a bunch of soy sauce and cheap frozen peas (I asked for no peas but the person taking the order was confused at the request). I could not eat it, I'm extremely allergic to foods in the pea family. Let's talk about the shrimp toast. It's a myriad of slop with zero flavor, unless you need a lifetime fix of ginger, put the breaks on, you horrible. They may have well just thrown a couple pieces of bread in oil (maybe that's what they did?) Let's get to the fries. Almost every place I go, I order fries (and I've done so, in many countries), they're my obsession. The fries, again, were cheap frozen food "steak fries". They were not even cooked through. Suprisingly they were soggy with grease, yet thoroughly uncooked, is this a new hipster trend??

The food at the house along it's always very good . Great Chinese food . America's specials are very good they come with soup and salad , plenty of good food . Service is very good most of the time . Few of the younger servers still have some something to learn . Employees that have been there for a while are all excellent . Ambience is nice too
