Hoppy Girl Brewing

We had a little trouble finding it, but it's worth it! We took our three kids tonight and even though it was pouring rain we made the most of it had a blast. I cannot speak enough of how kind and warm the owner was. She went above and beyond for us and even walked us to our car with umbrellas in the pouring rain. As far as beer, our favorites were the strawberry lemon shandy for a nice fruity summer beer and the Citra/Mosaic IPA. Delicious! We come to Lake Pepin every year and we will definitely be back!

Hoppy Girl Brewing AKA-Turning Waters Back Alley Brewing is amazing. Brenda and Ford have a lovely bed and breakfast named Turning Waters. When they first started they called the brewery Turning Waters back alley because it was in the garage in the back alley of their Bed and Breakfast. You may think WHAT?!?! Its in a garage...yep its in the garage and its FANTASTIC. This brewery blew me away, and it makes me sad that they are not talked about more in the beer community. Since this awesome brewery is a brewpub you can also find pizza, ice cream, cocktails, wine, and various snacks. The beer is just amazing and the company you meet is even better. I have never had so much fun at a brewery. Brenda and Ford are 100% two of the nicest people we have ever met who also just happen to brew really good beer! I also loved the seltzer- ask for it with a tea bag! I'm serious it's awesome!Please make a visit here!

I heard about Hoppy Girl from a friend... it was hard to find and has limited hours - but it was worth the wait! There was a musician playing and a large crowd gathered for a wonderful afternoon!

Was nervous that all the beers were fruit related, but they are all delicious and not all sweet beers! What a great hidden gem!

Highly recommend. Tasty beer, amazing pizza, top notch environment. The owners are amazing and instantly make you feel at home. Great outdoor environment and the garage/indoor space is pretty cool too. Come check this place out.

This is a great hidden brewery in the great city of Wabasha. Brenda and Ford are welcoming and knowledgeable. The beers are creative and constantly changing. They have live performers and special events. I like the reds, browns, and stouts.

Had a great time here and a super cool place. Brenda was super friendly and an instant friend. Beers, both home brew and others taps, made a solid selection. Plan to go back again today!

Absolutely love this place! The beers are fantastic, the atmosphere is incredible, and it's such an intimate affair. 10/10 would recommend!

Neat back yard garage based brew pub. The beer selection includes both home brewed as well as the standard bar craft beer selection. We tried a couple IPAs including their homemade hazy IPA, and the quality was great for such a new operation.

Great service! Multiple fire tables on the patio. Beer was wonderful. Favorite one was Salted Caramel Russian Imperial Stout (not pictured).
