We've been here several times with different groups of friends. The food is consistently good, but just know that if you have dietary restrictions or you like certain changes, they generally won't modify any of their dishes - you get what you see on the menu. They don't have many healthy options, but that's not why you'd come to Hope! Service is usually friendly, but you may feel rushed, especially when they're busy. Good idea to make reservations. Ambience is cozy and crowded; gets loud in there, can be hard to hear if you have a group of friends with you.

We had breakfast here with friends a few days ago for the first time. The staff was amazing. Friendly, helpful and attentive. The coffee was hot, and with a thermos on the table, very plentiful.We started with the donut bowl and they were delicious. I had the deviled egg sandwich with hashbrowns. Hubby had the traditional breakfast. One friend had the chicken and waffles and another had the piña colada French toast. Everyone was very satisfied with their meal. I would order the deviled egg sandwich over and over.Highly recommend!

Was so glad to have a Hope in the Eastern 'burbs open up. I had heard about it being crazy busy after they opened, so held off a bit before heading there.Menu seems to be the same as others. Got my usual pimento cheese scramble and I swear there were no eggs in it at all. I understand that they kind of mix in the cheese, but it seemed like only cheese was served to me (I have had this DT StP many times and the eggs never were so dominated by cheese that you couldn't tell eggs were there). I mentioned this to the server, but was just completely dismissed and told "that's how they're made". Coffee and other food were fine.The space is also open and a bit loud. For what it's worth, I think I'll just continue going downtown.

This may be the best breakfast in the Twin Cities! I cant say enough about the cool vibe of this place and the incredible food they serve up. You pick savory or sweet or both which is my recommendation. Hope Breakfast Bar is my favorite brunch spot. I recommend it to everyone as the menu is unique and the food is always delicious. However, this is not my favorite location due to the seating. The tables are all very close together and it gets very loud in there. It was difficult to talk to the person I was with, but we also could hear everything the tables next to us were saying. It was so loud, the waiter even misheard the latte I ordered (oops!), but it was a happy accident since I ended up with a lavender latte I wouldn't have ever ordered but loved. If you go- do yourself a favor and try the Dill Pickle Pretzel!

Share what was great? ALL.OF.IT. We went on a Friday late morning and didn't have to wait for a table. It's been chilly, so we chose to eat inside though we did like the patio so we'll try it another time. The coffee bevvies were fantastic! We had an iced Americano (the cold press was sold out!) Amd a seasonal iced fall seasons latte. Can't remember the exact name!Then onto our meals! I had the Avocado toast with poached eggs. I was surprised by seeing a salad on top of the tomato/avocado/toast layers. I was hesitant, but o.m.g. it was amazing! My daughter had the Multigrain blueberry pancakes. And the blueberries were huge and plentiful. Just delicious!Can't wait to go back
