Not a bad little place.. We came here for a motorcycle ride destination. Ordered the chicken avacado sandwich and the geeek salad. Service was a bit slow and a little disjointed but the food was solid and the prices were reasonable. We would come back for a second try!

DO NOT eat here. Service was terrible. Food came out cold. Half the food came and then it was another 10 mins before the rest came out. Waiting staff was ok when they were present, but not overly responsive. Food was mediocre at best. I don't normally leave reviews but felt I had to for this place to help people save their money and time. Businesses need to understand that time is valuable to their customers. 1 hour and 45 mins for the meal from arrival to completion. Unacceptable for mainly ordering apps. Glad I didn't spend more money here.

My friend and I stumbled upon Home Plate Grill & the Dugout while walking around Red Wing on a Saturday afternoon. We were able to get a table incredibly quick as the restaurant was quiet. Home Plate Grill has a really fun atmosphere. They offer pool and a few arcade games. There was even advertising for all of the events they have throughout the week and I am jealous I will not be able to attend all of them!Our waitress was very attentive and provided us with everything we wanted. I ordered the Banh Mi hot dog with a side salad and it was great. I wished I would have ordered 2 hot dogs!!! My friend ordered a spicy burger and really enjoyed it. He prefers a lot of spice and this burger was exactly that. I am excited to come back here the next tike I am in Red Wing, MN.

Very friendly. Great local spot. Went there with my son. Food was fresh and good. Server was super helpful and attentive. Burgers. Wings. Salad. And free popcorn!

Take a culinary class if you are opening a restaurant!!!!Good grief, stupid combinations of spices and herbs that just don't work together!!!!Muscles with French fries and some god awful sauce!Chicken nuggets in their chicken sandwich GROSS AND RUBBERY!!!P.S. Blue Cheese and Dill do NOT pair together!!!!!Only saving grace was the awesome cheerful waitress we had.Good location good atmosphere, The owner needs to get his head out of his ass and pay attention to what people want and how a quality menu is put together!!!!!

So, I saw the name and assumed this was a local pub. It's not. It's so much nicer.They had really great patio seating, so we sat outside, which was awesome. They have a local crow which is hilarious to watch! The service was phenomenal, we were taken care of from start to finish.Drinks were top notch cocktails, very delicious for an extremely fair price. Food was good, I got the seasonal butternut squash pasta - the portion was huge, plenty for two meals for most people. They had a good amount of food options without being too overwhelming. Very good! If you're in the area and looking for a nicer restaurant, highly recommend.

A fun place with good food. We were able to sit in the lounge area and play pool while waiting. The food was much better than I had thought it would be and our server was very nice and attentive.

Great experience! I haven't gotten anything I didn't like at this point. I've also been for bingo and that was a fun time. The cheese cubes are my favorite!

Service has been excruciatingly slow over the summer. Twice the wine we requested was not available! Wontons were extra greasy. Never order a soda drink. The pop has zero fizz. Flowers and herbs outside the building are gorgeous, and the decor is comfortable and relaxing. Just plan to be there a while and lower your expectations.

We have eaten here twice now, both times very good. I had the Havana with sweet potato fries and my girlfriend had the Wagyu burger and regular fries. Both were excellent. Also have a good selection of craft beers. Will be back.
