Hazelwood Food and Drinks

This was my first time at Hazelwood in Woodbury, MN. Tucked away in Woodbury Lakes. This cozy Diamond in the Rough, aimed toPlease! I'm from Hudson, WI. So the restaurant search is a bit harder toTop! Got a Gift card from my Kids to go here and eat! The menu and service were phenomenal! Our Server, Haley, in the Woodbury location was Amazing! See her Headshot The Lobster Bisque Gets. 12/10Stars! I got a cup of it and tookHome an extra bowl! It has real lobster chunks with a buttery, creamy broth. I felt like I was eating lobster tailDipped in butter. The French Dip Sandwich.. ( prime rib ) Oh my. .... Served with a side of Savory Au jus broth & A lightly whipped Horsey sauce melted in my mouth! The meat was tender and not chewy in the least! Beautiful salad! Fresh! Fresh. Fresh! Took home the artichoke dip and Tiramisu cheesecake. The DipIs very good! Texture isn't gritty or chewy and not too salty! The Cheesecake is Light and almost like a pie texture. You get enough for 2-3 people! I'mSaving mine for coffee in the morning, as I am way too fullFrom this amazing Foodie experience! We will be going back! Soon!

Came here for dinner on a Saturday evening, no reservations, and seated right away in a booth. The restaurant is lovely and the service is great.The menu has so many options and started with their signature cocktail, the Pom Mule. I am a huge fan of moscow mules, so this was a pleasant change! We started with their calamari, and they were strips instead of the usual tentacles and rings but it was very yummy.I had their Minute Chicken dish for my entree and it was absolute perfection. Panko breaded chicken breast that was very thin so not dry at all. The angel hair with mushrooms, capers, shallots and lemon butter sauce was oily, but delicious! Ate the whole dish up!Would definitely come back again in the future and order it again!

We've been a long time fan of the Bloomington Hazelwood location, so decided to give the Woodbury location a try (which is actually more convenient for us). We arrived at 4:30 on a weekday, hoping to beat the dinner rush. We were disappointed that it took 20 minutes for a waitress to even acknowledge our existence. We ordered a bottle of wine, an appetizer (Brie cheese curds), and entrees (meatloaf). Again, it took another 20 minutes for our bottle of wine to arrive. So we've now been sitting in the restaurant for 40 minutes with no drinks, no appetizers, and no food (and seen a waitress once for a nanosecond at this point). Once the meal arrived it was good food as expected, but the service was highly disappointing. We did mention something to a manager when they stopped by to ask about our meal, and they deducted the appetizer from our bill. We appreciated that, but I hesitate a bit to return. When a meal costs over $100, you expect good food, ambiance, *and* service, not 2 of the 3. We've since returned to the Bloomington location and had another stellar experience. This might have been a one off at the Woodbury location, but perhaps they need to add staff or do more training.

Come to Hazelwood and ask for Hailey as your server! Food was delicious and the environment is elegant. Loved it!!

This is the first time I've been to the Hazelwood in Woodbury since they opened. I've been to the one by the airport and had a delightful experience so I was excited to check out the new location! Yay! I sat at the bar on a Saturday afternoon and the bartender suggested the salmon bowl which was delish as I was going for a healthy option. It did not disappoint. It had some brown rice, a dipping sauce and lots of yummy veggies! The menu has plenty of options and lots of varieties that I did question at one point which delish meal was I getting. Salads look great, brunch sounded yummy and love their gfree pizzas! The service was great and friendly! They were also quite busy as a new restaurant for the bustling Woodbury area. Great addition! Look forward to coming back.

Overall, a pretty solid choice! Great atmosphere, very good service and the food was pretty tasty! Not too expensive, either.

Lemme say it, I love Hazelwoods! Get the minute chicken, the shirt-rib linguini and get Cole as a manger! He took great care of us and at a night when it was busy and service was slow he made up for it! Thanks again, Cole for knowing how to serve the customers better than anybody I've seen lately! Always been a big fan of Hazelwood and Cole confirmed he is the place that I go to on the regular! see you soon Hazelwoods!

This is one of my "go to" restaurants. I dine here quite frequently. Each time the service is great. Food is also prepared well and very consistent quality. The decor is lovely as well. I contemplate each time if I can somehow replicate the style in my home.

Best experience we've had in a long time, no question that it was a 5 visit!!Comfortable seating, relaxing ambience, loved the view of the kitchen, drinks were tasty, service by Aidan was flawless, and the food was amazing!The minute chicken pasta was phenomenal! Every bite, whether it was the pasta on its own or including a savory slice of chicken, was divine. The wood fire gave the pepperoni, bacon & goat cheese pizza an extra kiss of flavor. And while we've never had a tiramisu cheesecake before, Hazelwood's play on the dessert was luscious and satisfying.We will 100% be back to this wonderful restaurant! ‍

I've been to the Woodbury and Bloomington locations a few times. I'm never disappointed whenever Hazelwood is the choice. I will say, my favorite thing that I've had there so far was available during brunch - their monkey bread. Omg. So good! My go-to at many restaurants is a French dip. The one at Hazelwood is not enough to bring me back but they have many other things that would. Their Bousin artichoke dip... thinking about it is making my mouth water. Absolutely delicious!! Their cheese curds were good but what made them special was the lingonberry ketchup, added the perfect flavor with the cheese curds. Our server was amazing and he even brought an extra one, and it pretty much goes with anything. Know that there is a charge if you're there for a celebration and bring a cake to share with the table. Hmm.. might have to plan a meal at Hazelwood again soon!
