Hazelwood Food & Drink

It's hard to not give Hazelwood 5 stars regardless of their location. I like this location better than Bloomington- the vibes are a little more night/romance vs the hip/day life of Bloomington. We made our reservation a day or two in advance and I highly recommended it! we arrived early hoping we could get in early but no.Our server was great and and we didn't spend too much time waiting for drinks, food etc. We started with a Cesar salad which was delicious and enough to share. For dinner we did a pasta, pot roast, and the chicken dinner. all were delicious and would order again. we also tried the smoked gouda hashbrowns- yum! and the chocolate cake- extra yum!If you haven't been to any of the locations you should definitely change that. If you have but you haven't been to this location I recommend checking it out for the vibes. Parking is in the back or street parking in front. If you park in the back you can walk through the building vs. walking around.

First time at this location, didn't even know it existed lol. They have their own parking lot and underground parking too. Beautiful restaurant inside too.I sat at the bar with a friend. Got served immediately. Staff was super friendly and took great care of us. Ordered a couple items, a few were specialty items. I asked them to bring them out as they were prepared and that's exactly what they did and that's not always the case.The pizza wasn't that great, but everything else was delicious and great service. I will be returning now that I know about this spot.

We came back here for the third time. I re-ordered the shrimp scampi and was pleasantly surprised that it was completely different than the shrimp scampi I had a year prior which included no angel hair and was just shrimp and scallops. This one was actual pasta, which was fantastic, but the flavors were just okay. We also tried the rotisserie chicken sandwich and the flavors that were very bland.The raspberry Mojito was absolutely delicious and is worth it. the atmosphere is always very lively there, especially on a weekend night and is an elevated casual environment. I was a little disappointed that we had a reservation but still had to wait around 10 minutes for a table. However, our server was very friendly and attentive. Personally, I feel this restaurant is a better place to go get drinks than it is a place to eat.

Very nice place. A lovely bar well-stocked with an array of serious single-malts is the first thing you'll see. Resisting the Siren's call tempting me into some kind of crazy whiskey bacchanalia, I opted for lunch. Great spot for a business lunch - bright and bustling but not too loud. I enjoyed a tasty Tuna Poke (shown below). Fine salad, healthy and delicious. I particularly liked the service, in that our server stayed on top on the beverages. I did not see the bottom of my coffee cup, and the coffee itself was surprisingly good. Free parking beneath the building. Nice place!

We ate here for brunch, had reservations so the wait was not terrible. The place was hopping yet service was still served with a smile and we never felt forgotten. The monkey bread is delish! You must try it if you're not allergic to half the stuff it's made with. We'll certainly be back to try their other menu items.

We went for a Sunday brunch, always make reservations at Hazelwood for brunch or meals at popular times! We were seated for our reservation about 10 minutes after we checked in on time, they were BUSY! The restaurant has a lot of lovely wood and big windows, nice and bright! Our waitress greeted us and asked if we wanted anything to drink within 2 minutes of sitting down. She was super attentive our whole meal which was great, I loved how she was upbeat and made a little conversation, too! My husband got his favorite kind of breakfast, a classic eggs, toast, bacon, and their AMAZING Gouda hash browns. EVERYONE HAS TO EXPERIENCE THESE HASHBROWNS! If you like cheese and you like hashbrowns they will call to you after you try them. I ordered strawberries & cream French toast and they were super yummy. The whipped cream was fresh and sweet, so were the strawberries. No syrup needed. I also had a chocolate coffee cocktail which was perfect for a cold morning! I've been here for brunch before and I'll come again!

Very nice ambience comfortable booth to sit in. waitress was knowledgeable. I've only had breakfast here, but wasn't sure how dinner would be. the waitress recommended the Minute chicken, says everyone orders that and returns for more but honestly, I thought it was just OK. I will definitely come back for breakfast, but not for dinner.

One of the top spots in St Louis Park! Always good comforting food and very friendly service. Went for lunch and ordered the open face meatloaf sandwich and Bbq salmon. Also added a cranberry walnut salad and the seasonal pumpkin cheesecake. The meatloaf sandwich was a large slice of tender meatloaf on mashed potatoes covered in a rich gravy with lots of fresh mushrooms. Great flavors and very large portion. The salmon was prepared very well - moist and juicy with outer grill marks. I didn't love the BBQ sauce but that's a personal preference only. The salad was crisp and fresh - I subbed feta for the blue cheese. The pumpkin cheesecake had an amazing walnut and pecan crust and nice texture for the cheesecake itself. Too much nutmeg for my tastes but good overall and served with fresh whipped cream.

Ambiance was relaxing but busy for a Wednesday afternoon. Many TVs to watch sports and news. Service is attentive but not overbearing. I enjoyed a cozy little selfie lunch for my birthday while I was in town!

Had a lovely lunch and first visit to Hazelwood! This cute spot is located right by the Trader Joe's in SLP, with a great menu and fun ambiance. Service here was excellent, as was the delicious mushroom thyme soup accompanied with a small salad. The restaurant was super busy for lunch, so next time I would recommend a reservation in advance. I have also heard wonderful things about their weekend brunch-I'll be back to try it!
