Hastings Public House

Public House is located inside the Hastings Country Club. They have great food options and drinks. I highly recommend going on a sunny day and enjoying a cocktail or a meal out on their patio. I went on a week day for lunch and had a seat at the bar. The bartender was very attentive and super friendly. I ordered the Public House Salad with chicken and was not disappointed. The salads are a decent size so you will leave satisfied and full!

Our whole experience here today was really great. The food was delicious and the views were so beautiful. The whole staff was super friendly and great service by our waitress. I got the simple grilled cheese half a sandwich and soup deal and I don't think I've ever had creamy vegetable soup better than this today. I should've ordered a whole bowl. The half a grilled cheese sandwich was just that, no bells or whistles and super simple but was very satisfying especially when you dip it in the soup. We got the artichoke dip for an appetizer and we were so disappointed that we didn't order one each! Very delicious. The little breads that come with it are not too hard and were the perfect combination of soft then crunchy on the edges. All three of us said we will definitely be back.

I walked in, and here's what I saw, I saw a very fancy interior, it was very welcoming, I decided to pick a song from the juke box, turns out it doesn't take credit cards, or cash. But you need to install this app! Which is pretty annoying but I still got to rick roll 15 people, (Yes you can do that, I highly recommend it) Anyway, I got the Cali Burger, and some fries, it was VERY good. So that was it!

Gorgeous views, delicious food, but what really sets this place apart is the exceptional service. This is our family's favorite place to go!

Favorite place!!!! Great food Great service Charile was fantastic and welcoming us..Thursday nights with Rodney are my favorite his old fashionds and Margaritas are the best around!!!!!

Beautiful country club, beautiful landscaping, beautiful flowers! Location location location! Potato chip nachos were not my favorite, otherwise fine food.

Really find this place hysterical. They are trying really hard to be "posh" ends up a poor man's Applebees. Food is bad bar food. Friday night fish fries get the locals all whipped up???? Gross fish lousy sides. I just don't get it!Send your chefs back to McDonalds, or at least buy them a fucking cookbook!Save your money and go by a Swansons TV dinner. You are welcome!

The food was very good, the bartender -who was also our sever- was amazing and served up some excellent spicy bloody Mary's. We were passing through from Treasure island concert and wanted a breakfast. This was delightful

We have been to HPH twice now. The patio seating is lovely with a view of the golf course and a fire pit if it's cool. We didn't sit inside, but the decor is pretty and the room is large enough for comfortable seating. Lots of people were outside enjoying a lively atmosphere. The service was sketchy, but friendly and enthusiastic, so we didn't mind.The food is OK. I don't recommend the meat loaf (too well done) or the flat bread pizza (too bread-y). Everything else was good.The bar is acceptable if you stick to the simple stuff. One of our party had a margarita that was pretty bland and another ordered a vodka/coke that seemed to be a little short on vodka.Nevertheless, as Hastings goes, this place is as good or better than most. Would have been 3 stars if not for the patio. It really was pleasant, and like I said, the servers were super nice.

Gorgeous, cozy, inviting... AND great food with amazing service. Can't find that a lot anymore. Love HPH!!
