Haiku Izakaya & Ramen

Awesome food and quick service! My wife and I stop for the first time and had a great experience. The dinning room was pretty packed but we got seated with 7 minutes of arriving. Two servers were kicking butt and helping everyone. Here's what we had,- Gyoza, so tasty!- Steamed Fried Chicken Bun, delicious!- Terriyaki Ton Ramen, so flavorful and filling! - Crispy Chicken Ramen, wife had this and she loved it!We will be back!

A good evening pitstop on our way from the airport. It was a Friday evening. It was busy but we got seated quickly. There was a real familiar energy to this place. The food was good. The appetizers were brought out quickly and they were tasty. The char siu was a bit too much on the charred side for our liking but it was comforting all the same. I came here specifically for the OMG because who does that?! It was not gimmicky at all. Would reprise my role as caveman all over again.

FOOD: My first visit to Haiku Izakaya, the sushi rolls were good. I went with my usual tuna based sushi rolls and I selected three of them. The flavors were excellent and the presentation was beautiful.SERVICE: As expected, the service was excellent. My server and the sushi chef were friendly, attentive, and on top of everything without being overbearing. I've found that most of the sushi joints I've visited have impeccable customer service.PRICE: The prices all seem reasonable and in-line with other sushi restaurants I've been to lately.CLEANLINESS: The cleanliness seems to be good. I've learned the hard way to always checkout the restroom because I've encountered a few nasty surprises. But Haiku is all good in this category.LOW CARBOHYDRATE: It's easy to eat low-carb, keto, carnivore style at Haiku. I stick with sushi rolls with a moderate amount of rice. I avoid giant portions of rice, piles of noodles, added sugar, and anything that might be hiding man-made vegetable seed oils. My health appreciates it and my doctor likes it.-Maxx

Fabulous spot for sushi and ramen noodle dishes! Quiet with good service in a strip mall in Woodbury. Three of us shared three rolls and appetizer Yellowtail with HOT jalapeño! We had enough leftover to take home for a midnight snack . . Will return.

First visit this evening to Haiku and will definitely be a regular spot to visit. The restaurant was pretty busy but staff was quick to seat us, also they were really busy with take out so excited to grab some take out from here in the future. It's a small restaurant and pretty quiet which was nice to visit with others. The food was very good. Gyoza and steam bun was so good and flavorful! Same for the ramen and the chicken was super crispy. Such good flavor all around! Can't wait to go back and get some sushi.

The charred pork belly bun was amazing! For the ramen the pork was thinly sliced and had a sweet taste to it which paired well with the creamy broth.

This was my first time visiting this establishment. I'd heard some reviews from friends that have been and I decided to check it out. Labor Day holiday sick of barbecues nobody wants to cook and heat up the house and we all had a taste for Asian food. We went in the place was unassuming from the parking lot as it's tucked in nestled in between several other stores in a strip mall. But it was very inviting when we walked in. We were greeted right away we were asked if we wanted to be seated or get something to go I opted for to go. While I peruse the menu I noticed the sake/sushi bar. There was a gentleman there making it all of the sushi rolls fresh to order right in front of you You could sit there and eat and have sake or if you ordered it it would be brought to your table. The restaurant itself was pretty inviting it's somewhere that you could go for a nice date night or for a quick lunch or for an evening happy hour with friends. The other thing that I noticed was the menu the prices were unbelievable and I mean that in the best way possible Also the serving sizes were perfect. Oftentimes when you come to restaurants like these the portion sizes are so big that you end up wasting food. For all of the items that we got the average price was $6 per item for instance the chicken wings come in an orders of four wings for $5.95 the gyoza's or six for $5.95 The sushi was average $8 per roll but they had a double roll for $13 which is two rolls or 12 to 16 bite size pieces which was perfect. I really like this because when you're ordering for multiple people not everybody wants the same thing and sometimes people just want what they want and they don't want to share and their portion sizes were perfect for this very reason. The food was packaged very nicely it traveled well and there wasn't a bite left it was delicious. We will definitely be back to dine in and try the ramen since that is what they are famous for.*The only critique that I would have for this establishment was the short ribs.. although they were seasoned to perfection and the price was reasonable at around $8 for four pieces they were extremely thin and what seemed to be a cheaper cut of meat. As I said they were seasoned perfectly and they were worth the price I suppose but I would rather see a better cut of meat and pay $15 for four good size spare ribs other than that the food was amazing and we will definitely be back and I would highly recommend!!

This place is so good. The service is outstanding and I love that every time I go, I get seated right away when I get there. The staff and very nice and respectful. The restaurant is clean and modern. The tables are comfy and I love the atmosphere in here. I always get the chicken fried rice and the spicy cucumbers, and some Gyoza's. The food is warm and fresh and tastes really good. My girlfriend and I will be back soon, because this place is so good.

First of all - WOW we came here on a weekday afternoon when it wasn't too busy. The server was quick, friendly, and knowledgeable. The restaurant was clean and welcoming to everyone, and accommodated my family and son whom needed a highchair. We started with the spicy cucumber salad. It was tangy and fresh! A great starter. Next we tried the sweet potato fries. They were cooked perfectly with a nice dipping sauce that tasted fresh & homemade- like a homemade tomato ketchup. Following this we had the chicken kaarage and just wow.. delicious! i couldn't stop eating this dish! The skewers were so delicious and cooked perfectly, still very juicy and so much flavor! The char was on point. The steamed fried chicken bun - OMG I could have had 50 of these!! The dragon roll was also very delightful, packed with flavor. the outside was crispy and the inside put together beautifully. Lastly, the steamed rice.. again, very good. Nice flavor & the rice was not soggy or dry! We absolutely will be back. Thank you for the amazing meal, s/o to Haiku!

Very good food and service! I love how clean this restaurant is as well. I had Soba noodles for birthday good luck. My daughter had sushi that was perfect in every way. The menu has a lot of selections I can't wait to try. Definitely my go to place
