Food taste is on point. Fast sand friendly service. Worth coming back and try different selection from the menu.

Prices are nice and cheap; the service is not bad, just a communication difference, which is okay, but can lead to some "happy accidents." The food is good for the price.

I've been waiting for this place to open on snelling! I've been to the Minneapolis location a few times and have always gotten very consistent service and food quality. The food here is good! I had the Flautas and my boyfriend got the steak Alambre. Both were good! It's hard to go wrong with fried tacos. My boyfriend said the Alambre was good, the tri color peppers added a beautiful pop of color to the dish. I also had the frozen mango margarita and thought it was really good! It's a little on the sweet side which I like! This place is brand new. The service was great, the restaurant looks very clean and well managed. I've already made plans to come back for happy hour with some friends. Check this place out if you're in the area!

I ordered an alambre de pastor here and the place was empty but very clean. I ordered take out so I can not comment on service, however my tortillas had that dry look that comes when they're put in the microwave for too little time. Usually alambres are coated with oil and grilled. The pastor was very dry and had no flavor or color to it, and the overall taste was pretty simple. I am also used to having a cheesy alambre as that is one of the main parts of the dish, yet I had very little in there. The jamaica was very refreshing although I do like mine watered down a bit more. I would still give this place a try, i'd probably just order something else.

We got here starving on a weekday night around 7. There were a few large parties and it was pretty busy - one dedicated server and a bartender who was helping wait tables when he could. Both were super kind and friendly - service was a tiny bit slow but nothing terrible. My kiddo had a perfect sized burrito which she immediately declared to be as good as her favorite burrito place in the city we moved from. I had sopes which tasted fresh and the carnitas were yummy. Side of guacamole was homemade. My husband was starving and had flautas and a quesadilla (we helped him out some!) - all delicious. So happy to have this spot in the neighborhood and will definitely be back.

This unassuming spot dramatically exceeded our expectations! The food was very very good. Some of the best Mexican we have found in the twin cities and was on the more authentic end of the spectrum. Our meal was affordable with large portion sizes. Food arrived quickly (especially a kids meal) and our server was attentive, asked how everything was and stopped by for drink refills regularly. Pretty excited to have a standout Mexican place in the neighborhood! We will be back!

If you plan on going to habanero taco grill and bar. Do not plan on getting the breakfast burritos. They are a monstrosity. Just at least do not get the bacon one, under any circumstances. And also if you are in a rush , although it may say speedy on the road sign , they are anything but that. They took nearly 30 min to bring out 3 (quick) breakfast burritos while there was only 2 other customers in the restaurant. Even the chips are questionable and do not, I repeat do not, eat the ORANGE salsa in the plastic bottle.

First time ordering takeout. They missed one item completely. And while the menu says guac comes with the bowl, there was none. We didn't get charged for the missed item, so that's a mitigating factor, but if we try this place again, we will be checking the bag.
