Great Harvest Bread Company

A quest for local cinnamon rolls took us to Great Harvest. Upon entering I was surprised at how many options were in a seemingly small location. To the right was a table with various rolls and tea cakes. To the left in the order line was walls full of baked goods and mixes. There were two people ahead of us so we had time to peruse a bit and choose a few pre wrapped items. The location also offered some sandwiches and other cafe options to eat in as they had a small seating area tucked around the front door. Overall the space was very small though so I don't think I'd recommend it as a place to meet up but better situated for items to go. A nice touch might be offering some outdoor seating in good weather just to expand options for people wanting to stay. As you were waiting to make your purchases you could see a lot of activity in the back bakery portion which meant that everything was fresh! We ordered our cinnamon rolls and got the last four on the available rack until the next batch came out. So they were a hot commodity that morning! The service was nice but was a bit slow. The person running the register was also preparing all the orders but I did notice another person off to the side that possibly could've been helping in this area. None of the cinnamon rolls were frosted, likely because they we're still hot, so that added additional time for the person ahead of us and our party with going and collecting frosting separately to send with us as we ordered. Not a huge deal of course but the team could have partnered together a bit more to keep people moving. In terms of taste, everything we ordered was delicious! The cinnamon rolls were some of the best that I've had in a while and they gave plenty of frosting with us to go. Someone else in my party got a gluten free granola like bar and cinnamon bread that barely made it home before we started sampling. We also got a tea cake to enjoy throughout the weekend that was a perfect pairing for a morning coffee or a late night snack. I think Great Harvest is going to become a place that definitely makes it into our list of places to revisit in the future!

Delicious bread. Very fresh and unusual combinations.. I especially love the cinnamon chip and the chocolate babka.

If you're looking spot with fresh baked bread, you need to check if Great Harvest Bread Company. I was looking for breakfast sandwiches in the Maple Grove area and discovered this little gem.If you also love the smell of fresh baked bread, this is your spot to go to! There a nice selection of baked bread along the shelf with biscotti and other misc baked goods to select from. Seating was limited, there's about 3-4 small tables in the corner if you're in to stop for a quick sandwich bite and coffee.They also have a deli for sandwiches and coffee. Some sandwiches give you the option to choose from any fresh bake bread they have available. It's a nice little deli with plenty of sandwich options to choose from. Think of sandwiches you can make from home, fresh with a homey take.There's pepperoni rolls, berry swirled loaves, cinnamon swirl loaves, ryes and many different kind of bread loaves. I also got a bag of the cafe mocha biscotti and had them with coffee at home, was my favorite purchase! Also you can see them making and rolling large batches of the bread right behind the cashier! Pretty cool!Service was amazing. Staffs were friendly and very helpful since it was our first time stopping in. Will be back for more bread loaves!

Best bread place in Maple Grove. I love this place for fresh bread and breakfast sandwiches. The sourdough, whole grain and white are fantastic and people love the cinnamon and pecan rolls.Have them run it through the slicer and make sure to sign up for their reward program it adds up quick!

Tasty bread and more! We ventured in just to purchase some bread to have with a seafood meal we making and ended up purchasing a ton more. Did you know they make homemade dog treats?!? We bought some for our chihuahua, Buddy, and he loves them! While quickly looking for what we wanted, they had a garlic and cheddar bread that we used to make BLT sandwiches with! (Picture included). We used turkey bacon and garlic aioli. Crave worthy! Will purchase again!We also purchased cafe biscottis and blueberry lemon scones. The biscottis were a little large to chomp through, but were yummy dipped in some coffee. The blueberry lemon had full blueberries in them and were incredible. Those were my fav! We will be back with more foodie fun. Thanks for helping us be creative with your innovative goodies.

Great bakery selection. We also had breakfast sandwiches that were excellent. It was nice to sit outside with a coffee and breakfast. Service was excellent as well.

I've been very impressed by the different breads I've gotten from here. The Cheddar Garlic went super well with the ham I made for Thanksgiving, and the sourdough has a very pleasant taste for sandwiches. The coconut biscottis are super delicious as well. I'm not as much a fan of their cinnamon rolls, but I think that's more that I'm looking for something really sweet and gooey and theirs are a bit denser and not as sweet.

Bought a sandwich there the other day and what a rip off. One piece of turkey in a $13 sandwich. I did call them and they replaced it but not much better. Won't be back, high prices and they expect tips or else.

Very disappointing! Lots of breads and goodies on website ingredient list that do not have white flour, but virtually nothing in store without white flour, just one regular loaf of bread. Many items in store were not even labelled with ingredients and no one on the staff had any idea which contained white flour.

This super cute little bakery has FANTASTIC pastries. And the staff was so friendly. We will definitely be back. 5 stars for sure!
