Grand Seven Saloon

The entertainment factor of this bar is amazing. If you miss shows like Jerry Springer or Maury Povich, I recommend grabbing a table near the bar and watch the action unfold. If you are betting on sides of the argument choose the short female bartender. We watched her square off to a 6'3" guy and kick him out. The other fun fact is that they have modern pull ticket machines here, which was a new one for me.

Went to this establishment tonight for a drink because family invited me out . The night ended with me getting into an altercation and when i proceeded to leave the same girl came behind my car and the bartender on duty LIZ ended up letting her back into the bar far after bar close . Never been somewhere that the employees encourage the hostility and violence . If you want to have a fun night this is not the place . Especially if LIZ is the bartender and person in charge .!

So let me up front. My favorite bars are Classic Cocktail bars with hand carved ice cubes and ingredients that I would never expect together. Irish pubs where your a regular after one visit and around the world they are known as the beat bars in town, and Up North style dive bars. Well The Grand nails that last one for sure. Strong drinks, lots of locals, Heggies Pizza, good food on game nights, classic bubble hockey (we'll wait a minute on that last one, that may have been me dreaming about great bars and what do you know it's right there at The Grand". Come her for fun ...... but not too many of you because if this place gets trendy it might somehow change. I love it all.

This is one of my favorite dive bars in Saint Paul. No nonsense staff and they serve @jakeenospizza after hours. Great location close to everything.

The bartender is crazy and has anger issues. I watched her throw a glass at the wall right in front of two girls. It was less than 2 feet from their faces. Glass flew everywhere, hit multiple people. My friend had a piece of glass in their drink. I would not recommend this place. It is not safe.

i love this bar!!!! Liz is my favorite bartender in St Paul. When we are able to get out we always make it a point to stop in. Liz always makes everyone feel welcome and well cared for. Its the best place to escape the xcel crowds and have a great time on the town.

Liz and Andrea are far fantastic bartenders! The skill and abilities they have to manage a large group of patrons while working solo is truly amazing. Highly recommend to any visit along West 7th for a neighborhood "welcoming" vibe.

I was brought back to this by The Transporter.Jason ($&:/&,And I was so delighted to be humbled and humiliated by the staff and regulars.They were persistently asking me questions. rude!The one bartender said what are you drinking Al?I'm like how the heck does this guy know that I am Stalking Liz?Then the guy next to me in the trough bathroom said hey!I was thinking that guy was my gym teacher.I would recommend that steak sandwich
