Giliberto's Mexican Taco Shop #10

One of the best indicators of authentic international food is when the clientele matches the type of food. Each time we've come here (three times and we live in the Twin Cities and only moved to MN from Arizona less than 2 years ago), there are multiple tables of workers breaking for a yummy lunch and chatting in Spanish. This is the food we're all missing from back home. Our absolute favorite is the carne asada burrito. Wonderfully flavored steak, guacamole, pico de gallo, and fresh tortilla paired with some of their zanahorias en escabeche (pickled carrots), delicious medium green salsa for me and spicy hot red for my hubby. So good!!While I waited for our food (they make it fresh), I chatted with one of the workers and lamented that we didn't have a Giliberto's near us in the TC. She let me know there IS one in Blaine, which is close to us! What a great discovery! Our next craving we'll be checking out the Blaine location. Wow, I was driving by and noticed the 24 hour sign. The staff were amazingly helpful and friendly. The portion are large and the flavors areAmazing. I had the beef and cheese burrito and my wife had the chicken marinade tacos both were excellent. The decor is of an all night diner. If your in Mankato I recommend stopping in for some great food

Somehow I found this absolutely wonderful place by chance. Looking for breakfast on Saturday morning. Steak rancheros was absolutely amazing. I almost finished the whole thing, but it was enough for two. Fresh salsa, and pico were available so you could get as much as you wanted.This restaurant with thrive in the southern metro Minneapolis area.

This place is soooooo good! The portions are perfect! So many places lately charge so much and hardly offer any food. Love how much they gave us. Friendly service too!

Yum. I ordered on their website and had my food delivered to motel 6 (read that review too, because it was an oddly amazing stay!) I had a bacon, egg, potato, and cheese breakfast burrito with crème fresca added, and it was perfection. It arrived still warm, and the potatoes and bacon were crispy and contrasted beautifully with the creaminess of the cheese and crème. It was huge and a great value!!

Went to Gilbertos Feb 2nd at 12pm. Ordered Sausage, egg, potatoes breakfast burrito.. That is Amazing Huge burrito and very tasty well worth the price. My friend had Nachos.. Very Big portion the only negative is they put Queso cheese and guacamole on the chips which made the chips soggy then the beef on top... Nxt time I would ask for the Queso and guacamole on the side. Flavor was very good. They have an amazing Salsa bar.

Stopped at 10:00 pm ordered the Sioux breakfast burrito, (all meats). Fantastic! Exactly what i want my burrito to be, not the fanciest or the best presentation but Satisfying and well worth the $11

I ordered and got an order that was wrong. Called restaurant and lady laughed and told me to get creditfrom door dash. Not their fault. She laughed and said kitchen closed. Hey they are open 24 hours. Do not pay hard earned money for horrible service and incorrect orders. They win and blamed door dash. Stupid and never order again!

Best taco place around here. Love everything about it, the service is great and the food is amazing.
