This is the best place in the Uptown of Minneapolis to do my laundry. I lived in an apartment has the worst and expensive shared laundry room so I've went to all the other laundry place in uptown. This place is the cleanest and cheapest place from doing different sizes loads of clothes to wash. My journey started on a humid AF 87 degree evening,I needed to do some laundry so I made the journey from my third floor apartment to across town to the oasis That the website stated laundry with AC. As soon as I opened those doors hoping for a blast of refreshing air I suddenly felt like I was on vacation! In Louisiana on a swamp boat tour. Long story short if you're suffering from wanderlust just haul all your clothes to Giant Wash Coin Laundry and be transported to the balmy tropical sweat pouring down your face swampy get away of your dreams!

Honestly if you're going to a laundry mat your expectations should not be very high.Either you need to take a look at your situation in life and your expectations on the laundry matTRY TO enjoy this laundry mat as much as possible it's always slightly depressing which is just fine You are just washing clothes right? no expectations please It's a laundry mat and it did what I needed washed my clothesClean clothes done and Saturday night clean sheets! I'm happy ..go there for the five load washing machines m*for a coffee next door I just reviewed a laundry mat LOL

Expensive. Minimum of $5 ($3 to wash, $2 to dry for 35 mins). They lock the doors at 9:30 even though they are open till 11. The fella working said it was because his boss won't pay overtime. Everyone has to be out at 11. I ran across the street to have a beer while I waited for my clothes to wash and got locked out. I even told the guy I was going across the street and he didn't say he was locking up. Good thing there was still another patron washing or I bet the man working would have closed up and left. I give 2 stars because my clothes were washed well and dried fast. There are no dryers for less than "3 loads" and most of the washers are that size too (and start at $4.25) so while a great place to wash your entire wardrobe or your linens, not cost effective for someone who just needs their work clothes and a couple of towels done. I doubt I'll be back.

The washer at my building is shared between over 12 units, and the dryer takes at least an hour to dry a load of clothing, so I thought I would try this place out!This place has some seriously large washers and dryers. They have one that allows you to wash EIGHT loads of laundry at a time. It was $9.00, but I could see how that would be worth it! I used two of the three load washers...I think they were around $4.50. More expensive than I'm used to, but the machines are very quick and efficient.The bigger dryers dry up to three loads at a time for around $1.50, which was very nice.There isn't much around to pass the time...they were playing Tosh.0 and a Spanish language program. They do have one table, but it's really small and one lady was Bogarting the whole thing. Oh well, I snagged a chair by the washers and happily finished Catching Fire.All in all, I spent around $11, but it was all done in an hour and fifteen! It would have taken much longer @ home.My coworkers suggest that you go around the same time Leaning Tower of Pizza is holding their happy hour, so you can pop a load in, go across the street, and grab a cheap drink while you wait. I am definitely going to keep that in mind next time I do laundry!

The washer chewed up my bra and linen bag. Take your clothes elsewhere if you don't want them trashed. The employee also had a kid here that ran around screaming and pushing another kid in one of the laundry baskets. Laundry sucks enough without the extra crap.. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere!!!!!!!

I like what they did to it here bigger machines and good prices it's keep clean the machine did a great job

The place was very clean, neat organized and quiet. The only problem I had with this location is the scammed out trickery on the machines. The washing machines is flashing $5.50 but when I began inserting the quarters....the price changed to $6.00. Yes it's only .50 but I had two loads to wash and the price should have remained at $5.50. I'm sure they set the machines up to switch prices and that I find to be very dishonest and scam like with this business. Not sure if I will come back, it depends on how desperate I am but over all, I was satisfied with everything else but scamming people is wrong!!!!!!

Very clean. Lots of machines. Coin machine. Laundry soap and dryer sheets available for purchase. Vending machine. Ample parking.
