Top quality plants for any season. Excellent selection and great staff. I've always left smiling and look forward to going back, even though my pocket book might not like that.

So much fun!! I had no idea Gertens did these workshops! Well worth the money as I could not purchase everything to make the planters at that price. Class was an hour long everything was out and ready, great instruction, lots of room for your own creativity, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Bring your friends and have blast together. Gertens was over the top with everything for Christmas cheer!

Sometimes my idiocy know no bounds. I've never been here. I was tired of the rip offs at grocery stores. Then I found two beautiful plants for my front porch at $30 each and they're huge. I love the inside store and picked up a lavender dish soap. Another thing I won't get at a grocery store. Never again will I buy plants in the cities but here.

Gertens is a one stop shop for everything you need - 5 stars.I feel really old here but I have to admit, I haven't been to Gertens in well over...20 years! I live in the NW burbs, pretty much the opposite side of the Twin Cities. I made the trip across town to specifically look for giant outdoor planter pots for both sides of my driveway gate. I was looking for 2 big & bold & colorful statement pieces, possibly commercial sized planters.I'm nearly at a loss for words about the size and scope of Gertens. So, so, impressive! They have many acres of EVERYTHING. I've been to many nurseries over the years and I'll be so bold as to call Gertens THE premier nursery in Minnesota. And it seems to be run with military precision.Despite the physical size, the multiple buildings, and the crowds of people, I found parking to be very convenient. They also have tons of employees and I was asked several times if I needed help as I wondered around like a lost puppy. The customer service is great. I even found an outdoor desk with a couple of Master Gardeners on hand to answer questions. This is an amazing place!I found my giant pots. I also checked out many other items that I was interested in like ponds, pond plants, ornamental grasses, and sages.Thumbs up!-Maxx

Abundant in every way. Varying sections to explore Minnesota's largest selection of plants on a huge extended property line. There is a big parking lot on-site but be warned, it fills up quickly especially on the weekends. The on-site staff is outstanding as you will always find a helper nearby for any questions or clarifications. Stretch carts are offered for larger hauls making it a seamless process especially when purchasing trees. There's an interior gift shop that sells your Patina type goodies such as t-shirts, soaps, hand towels, etc. along with a great grill section that has various rubs, traegers, aprons, and BBQ tool sets. I could go on and on about the plants, mulch, hanging baskets, etc. but you'll have to witness the beauty for yourself. We got lucky and had North Star Donuts food truck serving donuts and cold brew which are the perfect combo for shopping in April. Happy gardening, BBQ'ing or gift shop buying! The world is yours.

We came here an hour before it closed and I did not have enough time. They have a separate house plant area and they also have a main area with a lot of goodies. I wasted my time in the houseplant area when they have more house plants in the main area and I didn't get to it. It was so lovely being here..

Horrible customer service. Was having mulch delivered and got 4 different stories on when it would be delivered: 8 o'clock, 10:30, 12, and as quickly as we can get it there. don't waste your time with these clowns, totally unreliable!

This place is an absolute gem for the Twin Cities! The store looks different every time I go depending on what season it is, and I always leave with a full cart of beautiful plants and gifts. When I re-did my landscaping last Summer, I asked the landscapers to get all the plants from Gertens and they simply emailed me back with a "We only use Gertens already!" I moved to the west metro but still make the drive to Gertens at least twice a year since no one has a bigger selection of perennials.

You will find nothing but joy at the Gertens. Lots of nice plant selections, and many great outdoor landscape material. You will also spend more money than you intended. It is like a target/ikea/Costco you will never come home empty handed and always buy more than you planned

Beauty abounds at Gertens. Staff were wonderful and eager to help. Whether you needed a cart, plant care advice or gifts. Fall colors were everywhere.
