We are fans of the Gandy. Nowhere near anything, along a county road. No meaningful food. But nice drinks and an excellent beer selection. Touchtunes means you can bring the party. People are generally relaxed and fun, and a good place for conversation.

Stopped by the Gandy for Meat Raffle night on Friday. Great local crowd. Boy were we surprised when the raffle was not the only "meat flavored" treat of the evening as the menu also featured the Meat Mash pizza. This pizza was a meat lover's dream - featuring rising oven-baked crust, topped with mozzarella cheese, a rich tomato sauce, zesty pepperoni slices, jumbo sausage, smoked ham and bacon. No artificial flavors and preservative-free crust. I didn't personally inspect the ingredients, but certain it was made with 100% real cheese.Beers - check. Grainbelt - check. Pizza not your thing? There is a buffet to cover your appetite - homemade ham and cheese sandwiches and bowl of ruffle potato chips. Indeed, I am ruffled with mouth-watering anticipation for a return to this local haunt.
