Smaller, cozy interior, that has been organized in a manner that seems to work great for the space. Nice people working there. Titles available are in their database. Average prices overall. I found an intriguing older hardcover book from the Siren Public Library and bought it for $2. I've been told that by next summer, it ought to be very enjoyable sitting outside in the courtyard that will be next door to this bookstore and in between an up-and-coming small restaurant/coffee shop that should be up and running by then. The restaurant will be run by the NY chef school trained son of a local family.I can't wait to try it out next year!

Full disclosure- my grandma used to volunteer for the owner, so we are friendly with the management. I feel that I'd love this place either way, though. There is a really impressive collection of reading material here. Granted, it leans in the direction of romance and westerns, but if you're wlling to snoop around a bit, you can find a book on just about any subject. Recently, I found a bunch of books from the 70s about home vegetable gardens, and "Do Polar Bears Get Lonely?" I also picked up a George Carlin book for my husband, and books on organziation and bird watching. When you're stuck in the middle of nowhere, good reading material is crucial, and this place has always come through for me.
