A good place to go check out to buy board games or trading card games. Unfortunately, they do not sell single trading cards. The staff members were friendly, professional, and somewhat knowledgeable about Magic the Gathering (MTG) and Lorcana. It was good that they provided recommendation of other local game stores in the area to help me find a single MTG card and Lorcana Ursula's Return. Overall, I would come back for gaming needs.

I love game stores, but I freely admit that I am a bit of snob and want to make sure that they have the right creds. You can generally tell pretty quickly by browsing their stock and performing a checklist: Do they have Fluxx? Do they have Munchkin? Do they have the standard set of German games (Ticket to Ride, Catan)? Do they have a bunch of game that I haven't seen before? This place passes all the tests and the prices are reasonable. Definitely worth a browse if you are around.

I walked into the Games By James Rosedale store with a full face shield. I was told that I couldn't enter because face shields were not permitted in the store and that I needed a mask. The sign at the door says that a mask or face covering was needed to enter. So what do you think that a face shield that covers the entire face is? That kind of rudeness will be remembered when it comes time for me to buy any products that they sell.

I love this place. My 7 and 5 year old had a blast picking out a specialty toy and the staff member was very courteous to them. They couldn't stop talking about how fun the place was.

I received some games as a gift. The store would not exchange one of them for something else because it was a few days over 30 since purchase. I had the receipt, was not asking for a refund, and the game was unopened. Inflexible policy=customer bad review on Yelp.

My son bought a cube that fell apart within days of purchase. We attempted to return it for a refund only to be told they wouldn't do so because the product was removed from the package. I'm not sure how we could possibly know it was defective while it sits in a package. You need to stand by the products you sell and do right by the customer. You definitely lost any future business from us.
