Least authentic Japanese food ever encountered. This place looks like a cool old school Japanese restaurant but it's run down with worn carpet and empty fish tanks and ponds. The service was quick and efficient but the lunch bento boxes were the least authentic we have ever encountered. Maybe the food has been modified for local tastes but really - no white rice? Only fried rice and no substitutions. Tempura shrimp was undercooked with doughy flour interior. No Japanese sauce for the tempura, just a weird gooey sweet sauce. Sushi was a smushed together bunch of roll with heavy mayo based crab salad. Very disappointing

The food was ok, I think everything was over saturated with sauce. The salad was drench in dressing, onion soup, fried rice, and mixed veggies was good. The chef did over cook my filet mignon (ordered to be at medium rare but got medium) and lobster (over cooked and sauce).

Literally the best Japanese food in Minnesota. The onion soup is the best start to any food journey here. The fried rice is near perfection. Great sushi. And the staff is far more professional than even some of the cities biggest and best restaurants. All around perfection can be found here.

The ONLY place in the Cloud for sushi. I have tried that new sushi spot and Lund's. However, this is the place if you want good safe sushi, bento, or hibachi. *For newcomers to the hibachi experience: be prepared to combine/socialize with other groups around the griddle(that's why it's fun)! I went for lunch on Sunday and chose to sit in one of the booths by the sushi bar. I ordered their special, a Fuji roll, and it was excellent because it reminded me why I love eel(tastes like bbq chicken). I also had the bento box came with soup, salad(with zippy dressing), seasonal fried veggies(2 creamy lotus roots, an onion ring, a broccoli floret, sweet peppers, and zucchini squash), a couple chicken fingers, a shrimp, four shrimp shumai, teriyaki steak, and rice. Also, a bowl of their zippy house-mixed dipping sauce, yum! I sprang for the flight of three unfiltered sakes which was very nice, although I like the dryer sake better. The hot tea was refreshing and hit the spot. I did have to wait a while for them to refill my water and bring the check because the waiters changed shifts. This place has a fun atmosphere, cozy booths, detailed/themed light fixtures, and a coy pond by the entrance. Also, there lots of TVs if you want to catch a game. Very nice clean restrooms. Staff was very friendly and chatty! $60+tip/tax and the food/ambiance was worth it! Plus, I had enough leftovers for another meal that I ate later at suppertime.

Came in for lunch. I do not like hibachi but that's what we chose on. They made us wait for over 15 minutes for them to start making our food. Which was ridiculous, it's lunch time and we were hungry. We ordered an app. Their crab salad and calamari. The "crab" salad was a shallow bowl of cucumbers and a little pinch of fake crab. And the calamari was over cooked. How ever it had a good spice to it. (The manager came out and argued with us, saying that's how it was cooked, we tried to tell him, that the flavor was good. It was just over cooked. It was like chewing on a rubber band.) We ordered a sushi roll And the steak and shrimp hibachi. Service was ok. Our waitress was always missing and we were one of maybe 5 tables in the whole place. Very disappointing. Glad we have other options for sushi in this town finally because I don't think we'll be back here any time soon.

Best cream cheese wontons maybe ever. Served with a delish plum/gingery dipping sauce. Very inconsistent and service is eeeh. Love the food when it's a good day. Keep going back because I crave some of the menu items.

Service was horrible our waiter was barely at our table and was passive aggressive. also they don't take reservation. Food did taste all right But nothing was brought out together we ended up not getting 2 entrees and asking for the check. Ordered 2 cocktails took 30-45 mins to get. We did come on Valentine's Day but again our waiter wasn't very good the bartender was refilling drinks before we got ours. Asked what type of steak they had waiter said "new york strip" & "filet mignon" so order the New York strip and they brought out cubbed steak like what. So sent it back and apologized but got verbal attitude. i get it stuff happens and it's a busy night but at least make it up with your hospitality.

My boyfriend and I stopped here on our way to Alexandria. The service was friendly and fast. Establishment was very clean and nicely decorated. We ordered sushi. Salmon, Spicy Salmon and California rolls. It was delicious and fresh! We were very impressed with the quality. Seaweed salad was yummy as well.We will definitely be back during summer days! Try it! You won't be disappointed ;)
