Had another great experience here. The breakfast offerings are actually so tasty and hit the spot! Bloody Mary's are great, and the local crowd is friendly. We stopped in to watch the first half of the Vikings game and it was just what we were looking for. Stop by if you haven't checked this bar out before.

Great atmosphere, lovely service, yummy pub food and pull tabs...what's not to love? We had the pleasure of experiencing this neighborhood gem during our visit to Minnesota. We ordered chicken wings and shared a ruben sandwich. Yum to the yum! Our waitress, Taylor, was absolutely lovely. She was constantly moving, tending to everyone. Plus we had the pleasure of getting to chat with the other patrons. Everyone was super cool.

This DFW post has reasonable food at reasonable prices. So for example blueberry pancakes on a Saturday morning and coffee is only 595. There were lots of people there mostly men but families and couples as well. Parking can be a problem and you may want to consider parking on the street or the lot behind their area. They also have fish fries raffles and other events if you just want to catch a burger and people watch

I went today for bingo and it was the oddest experience of my life. I don't know about other people, but sometimes I feel like I am not really wanted in a VFW/Legion setting. We walked in and it was like an old-time western where the talking stops and the whole room turns to face us. We grabbed the first table we saw and someone came up and said something about the bingo. I suddenly realized that this unmarked table was apparently where they were setting up. We walked around the tiny bar and no one jumped at the chance to move over a seat so we could have 2 together. Finally, a nicer woman came up and told us we could hear the bingo from the other room. We end up being the first to sit in the dining room area. It felt like we were at the kids' table.More people showed up and sat at our table and 1/4 of the room filled up. We had to go into the bar to get drinks, there didn't seem to be a server outside of the bar.The pluses:The seniors sitting with us were polite and entertaining to listen to.The drinks were STRONG. I felt a buzz after one small drink and a couple sips of my second. We decided when we left that we would not be returning here for bingo. I guess it was an adventure?

If you are thinking about going to a VFW - then it is standard fare. It's an alcoholic bar. With 70+ year old people who start drinking at about 9:00 AM. The food is so-so.Then they waste their pension / SS on buying pull tabs.If you enjoy interacting with people who have 90 IQ's, with info from the 60's this is the spot for you.

My Mom, sister, brother and I went on Tuesday, 03/17 for Corned Beef and Cabbage. The price was very reasonable and the food was pretty good, but the service was painful. We walked in and the sign said seat yourself but I heard an employee saying "no, you have to wait to be seated" to the people in front of us. So I turned the sign around. The dinning room was practically empty. We were seated at a table right next to the hostess stand. A couple different servers came by our table and either said they'd be with us in a bit or asked us what we wanted. A third waitress came with a note pad and took our order for green beer all around and also told us how hectic it was because 1 person called in sick. This waitress repeated her frustration every time she came to our table.I was uncomfortable with the length of time patrons were kept waiting to be seated. Every time someone walked by the hostess stand they would tell them "it'll be 10-15 minutes before we can seat you" the dinning room was still empty! The was an elderly gentleman with a walker that was waiting a long time. There were 2 women that were finally given a table next to ours, but then their food took forever. One of them finally complained that her companion was diabetic and really needed to be served her food.95% of the people had the corned beef and cabbage. There was at one time 4 different women employees working in the dinning room. I'd think they should have been able to deliver the special to everyone pretty quickly. It should have been easier than what it was. I was very disappointed.
