Fletcher's Ice Cream & Cafe

I'm sitting at home with a serious case of "I Need Sweets! Now" I get my phone out and open the Yelp app...searching for delicious desserts near me. Fletchers pops up with RAVE reviews. Off with the pj's...and slip on my sweats...to Fletchers I go. Upon entering, the atmosphere is great. Clean. Bright. Fun art on the walls...and a display counter filled with the yummiest looking things to eat. But...I need to stay focused...cuz, I came specifically for the Fruitella Crunch. I ordered...The customer service is stellar awesome! I even got a chance to talk all things about delicious food with the owner, Jason. Now that I have found them, I'm bringing friends with me next time to share in the goodness.

4.5 stars rounded up to 5. I love the hours here, open early to open late. The first time I came here I arrived just before closing at 11PM. I didn't feel rushed by the employees at all but since I work in the industry I know people want to clean up and close up so I took my order to go even though they said I could take a seat. So many flavors to choose from. The one that caught my attention was the Black as My Soul. I am a chocoholic and I always have to try a chocolate flavor so I got that and some sort of cream to balance it out. I don't remember what the second flavor was and it was decent, but the Black as My Soul was really good. My second visit almost 9 months later I decided to get the XXX Chocolate and Lemon Poppy Seed. I loved the XXX Chocolate but the Lemon Poppy Seed really impressed me. Perfect flavor and not too sweet, not too tart. Looks like this will be a stop every time I'm in the Twin Cities.

I would recommend Fletcher's if you're looking for a good place to plop down with friends for an hour to chat and have a treat or a coffee. I wouldn't categorize this as a "must try" in the ice cream category, but everything about this place was solid. There were some fun flavors, prices were reasonable, vibes were strong, and they have several different menu options for you to enjoy. It's located right on Hennepin in Northeast near a million other shops and restaurants, which means you can make an afternoon out of your trip to this area.

This is a cute little place! I didn't try the coffee, but it looked and smelled delicious. I got the Cuban and a scoop of Pandan ice cream. The Cuban was very good and the pandan ice cream, which was vegan, was great! Their scoop sizes were pretty big so be aware of that. I believe I spoke to the owner when I ordered and he was very nice and approachable. I will definitely be back.

I stopped in here on my way home from work this summer, great ice cream and there was a line out the door. Only complaint is there was not enough seating.

We stopped at Fletcher's and it was really nice. It was also really crowded. But that was OK. Staff was friendly and patient. I enjoyed the unique flavors and was lured in by the lemon poppyseed. What a unique flavor. I enjoyed it but I wanted it to be more lemony and less sweet. They have the standard coolers with prepacked pints and then scoops on demand at the counter. All the typical ice cream shop extras are available. Shop was bright and clean. I absolutely would stop again.

Stopped here after dinner across the street where they had no dessert. Inside was cute! They had a lot of ice cream options, also cookies and bars. Stayed and chatted until they closed. Ice cream was very good!

Went here because I was with a friend who is vegan, and came up as having vegan options which they indeed did. The idea cream was good. There were a few good spot for seating inside. Parking was a challenge due to construction but that's not their fault. The three stars is for the price. Got a kids scoop which was tiny which was what I was looking for but it rang up to over $6... yikes.

This is such a cute place with great flavor options that it is hard to pick! We came here after getting dinner at Punch. I love that they have more than just ice cream options available but we did just get ice cream this time. The cookies however looked very good so I will be giving that a go. My friend got the cookie dough ice cream, delicious, and I got the cotton candy, also great. They have rotating flavors which is fun!

Great flavors and nice staff. Almost got guava pandan but went mint chip pandan and I'm not looking back ever!
