Firehouse Grille

UPDATE 4/8/2015: My wife and I decided to give this another shot since the ownership has changed. The ownership change was absolutely for the better. Our food was excellent, try the bacon bleu burger, and my wife thought the fries were amazing. Glad to see this turnaround, a small town like ours needs more places like this!Review 2/7/2015: Place was good when it first opened, not sure what happened but its been downhill ever since. Ordered a burger(medium) and fries tonight, the burger came out red, not pink, to the point that it was turning my bun red(gross) the bacon was flimsy and all fat and the fries were bland and soggy. Would be nice to have a few decent restaurants in town, guess we are still waiting...

Service is usually always fast and they are attentive on filling up your drinks. Food has always been great, except for one wing Wednesday when the wings were a mushy mess. They did offer a free slice of cheesecake for the mishap. (My husband and I frequent wing Wednesday and these were definitely an off day!) haven't been since they redid the inside but it's like a firehouse station. Very neat and they have a great patio. Kate, the owner, is extremely nice and kind.

Firehouse Grill is a nice place. The interior is spacious and decorated with in a fire house theme. They have a niceSelection of beers on taps. The servers were very friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is pleasant with a warm felling. It is family friendly We ordered the the prime rib special and it was quite tasty. I will certainly be back.

Disappointed! This is my third time and last. Food is just okay but expensive for what it is. Service has always been very slow. We even heard the host tell a couple to go and wait in their car when they arrived 5 minutes early on their reservation. We were hoping after being away for a year that things might have improved but not so much. So much potential and a nice atmosphere. If this place was managed right it could have a lot of potential. Unfortunately the only thing that keeps this place going is that they don't have any local competition.

I don't review places but I feel like I have to post this. Maybe I had a random event here but there were so many issues I won't be going back. Took 10 minutes to get anyone over to even take a drink order. 20 minutes later the drinks showed up (nothing special, lemonade and root beer), Appetizer (fried pickle thing) took 40 minutes. 2 sandwiches and a burger took over an hour and were cold when they came out. Mac n cheese was the consistency of glue because it was old. It wasn't even busy, 2pm on a Sunday and the place was half empty. Do not recommend, drive to New Prague or Burnsville and get a better meal/service.

We stopped going here. Food wasn't tasty they have no chef!Food was old, bun had mold on it!I would s End Zone or the New Mexican place down town.Don't waste your money here!

Service was excellent. Interesting unique drinks. Ambiance was great! Burgers mediocre at best.

Took over 40 minutes to get our food (two burgers, a French Dip and a pasta entrée). When we complained, the food magically appeared, but the burgers had clearly been sitting in the back for some time. I wish I could blame it on the restaurant being busy, but there were a lot of empty tables. Manager did apologize, but we declined the food and left. Very disappointed!

This is a very common spot for me and my family, the service is always great as well as the food. Waitresses are very fast and helpful. The ambiance of the restaurant is very nice.

Love the atmosphere. Best food in the area. Wonderful service they earned that tip I gave them. R.I.P. Jizz King
