Fast quality service at a cheaper rate compared to other film labs in Twin Cities metro area. I dropped off two rolls of 35mm film on an afternoon at 5pm and received the scans back through email at 11am the next day. The people who work there are nice and helpful too.They offer basic and pro image scans, the difference is that pro image scans are color and density corrected while basic scans don't have corrections. Basic scans for size medium is $11/roll and pro scans for size small $15/roll. For that price, I'd suggest going for the pro scans in size small if you only need to print 4x6 photos or need the photos for posting on social media. They have sample scans of the same photos in store so you can see for yourself the difference between the scans. They will keep it for 30 days before throwing it away. You also have the option to pay $10 to get them mailed back to you.They have some film stocks available in store but the prices are significantly higher here compared to other retailers.I just wish this place was closer to Minneapolis, though, since I take public transportation.

Great fast service. They offered a miracle turnaround for a wedding. They had a very nice man help me on the phone. It worked out well for my niece's wedding.

Fast Foto is my go to spot for film developing in MN! I've been getting my film developed here for years. They do a fantastic job with the scans, the turnaround time is much faster than anywhere else nearby, and they are so friendly in the store! I always recommend them to my friends that shoot film!

Great job scanning film, once scanned the files are uploaded and instantly available, and you get your negatives back, too! Develop C-41 in house. Fast, efficient, customer focus. Price is competitive, too!

Came in a few months ago to get some 30mm film developed, the guy behind the counter was rude and condescending, he expected me to know exactly how they're business worked when I had never been there before. Once I got the scans back I was really impressed to say the least. You can get way better development for cheaper elsewhere. The only positive was they called me before scanning to let me know that I might have a shutter problem, I told them to scan anyways so I could better address the problem. Then they charged me full price for only 4 photos scanned on the roll... go somewhere else, there are companies/people that are much happier and friendlier to work with and at a cheaper cost.

Gem of a place. This is a true small business where the owner works there almost every day. They deliver quality service and prints. I'm a professional photographer and use Fast Foto for my professional film developing. I've been a customer for 15+ years.

Love this place. They are always very quick in developing 35mm and the cheapest by far that I have found in Minneapolis. Don't really write reviews, but I was shocked they had a low rating on here. I don't understand what there could be to not like about this place. Cheap, high quality, fast. I would never take film anywhere else.

I am bad at leaving reviews, especially for places I enjoy, unless they REALLY stand out to me. Fast Foto is one of those places. I've tried a few other film labs in the past (and still use a different lab for B&W and E6 processing, since Fast Foto does not handle either in house, sadly), but for C41 processing, I simply can't say enough good things about Fast Foto. The film drop off process is super simple, whether it is in person, after hours through their drop box, or through the mail. The scans are by far the best quality with the most attention to color and detail of any of the labs I've used. And they live up to their name; the turnaround time is incredible. I often get scans back the same day they receive my film. My only, minor complaint would be that Fast Foto is a hair more expensive than some other labs, but not by much. And they are absolutely worth every penny. Even if you are not local (but especially if you are), and are looking for a film lab, I would highly recommend giving Fast Foto a try

I had the same experience for UK passport photos. $35 for a 2 minute photo. Advertised that passport photos were $15 but didn't mention the ones other than US were more expensive. The man had an unfortunate manner also.
