This is one of those small town gems! Tucked away in downtown Watertown! First visit after many have told me the breakfast and atmosphere at winners! Service is friendly, food is amazing and portions not an issue! Price is beyond fair and it's busy all the time! I got the biscuits and gravy and you can tell it's all made in house! Absolutely amazing! Definitely will be back a lot more! Thanks!

This is definitely that small town greasy spoon hole in the wall. Did I use enough cliches? Well, the homemade food was delicious and I am certainly looking forward to trying the cinnamon roll. Apparently they are made daily at 3am, pretty impressive. Someone is a morning person

Always good to find the great breakfast place when you move to a new area. This is it! Homemade sauces, and breads, large portions- all top notch.

Small town, greasy spoon (not negative) old school diner/cafe. We went here because it's run by the family that owned a similar restaurant in the town I grew up in that has since closed. The food is very similar to what I remember. Big portions of classic breakfast menu. Friendly staff and clientele. We had a skillet and an omelet. The skillet had chicken and sausage gravy with eggs and potatoes. It was good. The omelet was made to order and done very well. The cinnamon roll was ok, but not something I'd order again. We'll definitely be back to try other menu items.

We were looking for a breakfast place on the way home from St. Cloud area. Found the R & B Cafe in Watertown. It wasn't busy, and we both ordered Daniel's Haystack from the breakfast menu. Our waiter, who is the Daniel in the menu item, told us it was a favorite. It consisted of a stack of hash browns, topped with chopped onions, peppers, mushrooms and ham, smothered in cheese, topped with two eggs, made to order. It was the best, freshest, and hottest (temp) breakfast I'd ever had! It was accompanied by "Grandma's" homemade toast, made daily at 3 a.m., when Grandmas comes in to bake bread, carmel rolls, etc. It was unbelievable! They make their French toast out of it, which I will try the next time I go there. It was quaint, clean, very friendly, with great service! It was the best! I plan to return soon.

GREAT menu. Anything you get is gonna be great! Every time my family and I are in the twin Cities area we make it out there. Worth the drive. I love the atmosphere, and how cozy the café is. The owners are the nicest people you could ever want to meet.

Food is average. Not tasty but it will keep you alive. The coffee is undrinkable.
