Food was perfect. Service was great. No bloody Mary's or mimosas, but the coffee was great! It was very busy but the staff was so good you never noticed.

Technically, we just stopped for a caramel roll. It tasted home made and was NOT a gargantuan treat. We ate it at the tables outside. It was a good source of energy before we rode the Soo Line Trail on bicycle to Isle.

Omelette portion size was fine-it just took forever for the food to come out. Our server was probably brand new because after about 45 minutes, the cook brought out 3 plates of food instead of 4, in which the cook had asked who wanted chicken, and I told her I did. Apparently my order was never processed because the restaurant did not have any chicken.

My buddy and I raved about the food during and afterwards. The 2 ladies in charge were about as sweet and accommodating as could possibly be and appreciated our presence. Try the French toast special (last week's happened to be sautéed apples in a cinnamon glaze, with fresh whipped cream) and my friend had a veggie omelet he thought was incredible.

Stopped in here for breakfast on our way back to the cities... We've driven by this place so many times and I've always been curious... So today was the day. The restaurant is rather quaint... A basic menu selection. All options are either locally sourced or organic. I was impressed with how quickly we were served as we can only see one person working... She did a great job. My husband and I both had breakfast sandwiches and our son had the French toast. We really enjoyed the homemade hashbrowns with onions and organic cheese... Very tasty and quite complementary to the sandwiches. I definitely recommend stopping in here for breakfast or lunch if you are in the area... It's a great way to support the local farmers.

The food was okay, but it did seem like the employees didn't know what they were doing. I got the veggie cup of soup and a vegan cookie and when I went up to pay they tried to charge me for the bowl of soup which is $2 more expensive. Also I asked for my cookie to be warmed up and it was still cold and hard. Also they have a gift shop and it was really messy and unorganized. But the employees were really nice and kind.

Excellent. I came all the way from Chicago to go camping and while escaping the plagues of mosquitos and biting flies, stumbled across this place. Everything here tastes homemade. Possibly the best food I've had in small town Midwest. Told the rest of my campers about this place and brought them there. Everybody seemed to love it.

Over an hour and still no food. Tables served one plate at a time and by time the next plate came out the others were done eating. There are 3 tables of people 13 of us total in the whole place and we were told they are doing the best they can that they are busy.

When you're driving by on US-169, and you see the numerous cars parked outside of Farm Market Cafe, don't let it fool you into thinking that it's a reflection of the quality of this restaurant. These people have been waiting all morning to get breakfast and, likely, are still waiting as you read this. After you are finally acknowledged, after you're finally seated, after you're finally able to look at the menu and order, and after you've finally exhausted potential conversation topics with your meal buddy, you will be served a lackluster attempt at culinary excellence. The potatoes were flavorless and undercooked. The bacon was paper thin. They sell real maple syrup but give you a cheap imitation of Mrs. Butterworth's. The eggs were slimy. The utensils somehow had less material strength than the Wal Mart clearance items I bought for college 20 years ago (and still use). No ketchup. No salt. No pepper. Unfortunately, the new owners haven't changed it much since they bought the place. It's about the same as I remember but I thought I'd give them another chance. Any good to Farm Market Cafe?Yeah. The pancakes are decent and they have clean restrooms.

Honestly my expectations were low...boy oh boy was I wrong! My husband and I were very hungry after a hike so we took the chance on this place and it paid off! Everything is home made from food that comes from their garden or the farmers market! It all tasted so fresh! My husband had spaghetti (homemade sauce) and it reminded him of his great grandmothers. Even my side salad was Ah-mazing. It's an hour from home, but we will be back and drive just to eat there again. Even the caramel rolls were homemade and made this morning! I would give it more stars if I could. My only problem was my husband and I didn't talk at our meal...the food was too good to think about anything else! Yum!
