Great service. I have a good rapport with the staff here, they've always been very informative and friendly. I come here multiple times a week and easily get paid hundreds of dollars in scrap steel/aluminum. Pull into a parking spot, they bring a large bin to the back of your vehicle, at that point all YOU have to do is toss your steel, copper and aluminum in separate bins. They weigh the bins, and you get paid. simple as that. If you can't unload your items yourself, bring a friend. They're already plenty busy. Using these services not only keeps waste out of the landfill, but also saves you a ton of money on disposal fees!

I've been going here for a few years- every six months or so. There are some really nice guys and a few jerks. I try to not deal with the jerks but sometimes one doesn't have an option.

Beware, you need to pay close attention and not be distracted by small talk to make sure each removal is correctly recorded. Otherwise, there is some slight of hand that could take place.

I usually have aluminum cans to drop off every couple of months. The prices are usually posted online for scrap metal. Just bring your cans in a plastic bag get them weighed, get your ticket and redeem your voucher at the window. If you have miscellaneous items they can help sort that as well. Need a valid ID and be in their system to protect from illegal scrap sellers, i.e. thieves, who try to scrap stolen items for cash.

I agree with Lisa K. I called ahead by phone to ask if I could get help unloading some very heavy items and the employee said "sure, no problem". I get there (I had never been there before) and I pulled in and all the they did was yell at me from behind clear plastic sheeting enclosed forklifts (they can't seem to grasp that the customer cannot hear them behind this barrier while the forklift engine is running). They are rude, lazy and condescending as they refuse to make any effort to communicate effectively to customers. The employees don't want to get off their obese behinds to give direction and help the customer to unload anything. It is easier to communicate with Coco the the Gorilla using sign language than these lazy, rude jerks who clearly hate their jobs but obviously can't get better ones.

I have no complaints about the fact that this company accepts and recycles so much stuff that would otherwise go in the landfill, but if you don't know what you're doing, beware. I visited as a first timer today and made a few rookie mistakes and was treated as if I was the biggest idiot in the country. Heads up that it is not a drive-through facility so don't try that unless you want to be yelled at by all the employees. One nice guy felt sorry for me and offered some help, but the other three pretty nasty and it was a jarring experience.
