Emerald Greens Golf Course

Emerald Greens is a beautiful golf course! Their new addition is perfect for a wedding or large event. The downstairs bar and restaurant was very comfortable with their garage doors open allowing the breeze to come through. Plenty of parking spots. Helpful, welcoming staff and bartenders. We enjoyed sitting upstairs on the deck overlooking the greens. It was a stunning day!

We played here at 5pm on a Tuesday and it was packed. We wondered if it was busier than normal because so many local courses were doing aeration?We only played nine and played the gold back 9. The course was in very good shape. Greens were smooth and fairways well maintained. Some of the tee boxes were a little chunked up but overall very nice. It's not a hard course. Very flat and not a ton of sand or water. It's not uncommon to have balls hit into nearby fairways. We waited in every hole. It was a long 9 holes. Liked the course, though and would like to play again. For the price ($18 for 9 holes) it was well worth it.

seems like management doesn't know how to run a golf course. they allow 12 people per tee box. called the ranger twice and nothing happened. 1.5 hours for 4 holes? the lady at the register is very unprofessiona. do not recommend

Played Emerald Greens Silver Course and had a great experience. Really enjoyed the back to back Par 5's on 16 and 17. Greens were receptive and rolled true

Today was my first time golfing at this course and it was a great experience! I golfed 18 on the Silver course. The course is very well maintained for a city course! One of the cleanest city courses I've ever been to. Great layout of the greens and beautiful landscape. I will definitely be back! You just can't beat the price either!

So, I write this review at 4:43pm on a Sunday, as I wait behind a husband and wife twosome that I've walked up to on every tee box thus far. I'm now 4 holes in, and yet have not been invited to play through. Meanwhile, the ranger has driven by me three times in four holes, but apparently he doesn't mind the large gap in front of said twosome (nor my wait and subsequent awful review). I'm not really in a hurry since I'm only playing 9 holes. Since 18 holes riding at 3:53pm on a Sunday is $55, I opted for 9 walking at $24, which I'm thankful for, as this place is an absolute dog track. Conditions are terrible (see photos), and the bugs out here are awful too. I certainly won't be back, even if a 90% off coupon was in my hands - it's simply not worth it. Avoid this dump.

This is a nice municipal style course out on the edge of Hastings. It took me 45 minutes to get to it from Minneapolis. I liked that the course was well maintained, and that it was uncrowded (although I was there early on a weekday in September).It can be walked - the distance between the holes is deceiving because it seems like it should be short but the front/back 9 are patchworked together.It is what it is but the course wasn't super interesting, until the 14th hole (gold course) where there was finally some elevation change and nicer views.

Went to the course with friends today, no one told us they had Aerated the greens. The fairways played like rough. The tee boxes are tough as concrete. They are working on flowers and landscaping, course is in rough shape. Usually when courses are undergoing maintenance they let you know and offer some sort of break. Not today full price. There are better courses in the metro to play for the price.

Played a round in 4:45. An employee told us there is a group of six a few holes ahead of us. Unacceptable for any day, especially a Saturday on a holiday weekend. With all the rain lately, every golf course I have played has been in great shape, not this one. Greens are beat up, tee boxes are a mess, etc. It should be a fun experience when you get to play golf, it feels like they are taking advantage of the need for a golf course in the area. They need to expand their tee times to every ten minutes instead of eight. They should treat you like it's a great day to play golf. Not like you are lucky to play here.I play here once a year hoping it gets better but it doesn't.Great potential!

Horrible customer service! I also purchased a pack of six donuts and they were all moldy!! I didn't realize this until I engulfed one and realized it tasted funny!Stay Away!!!
