ElMar's New York Pizza

For the LOVE of a freakin' NY slice!!! Finally found THE closest at ElMar's!!! Thank you and God bless you! For those who don't know...NY pizza is set apart because of the WATER! What? Yes, NYC has some of the best water in the world...and is essential in making not only the ideal pizza crust, but the bagels too. ElMar's literally has a process that gets the water as close to replicating NYC water and its mineral content as possible. I'm from New York...trust me! Chef Kim does a decent job at Hello Pizza, but this pizza is far better imo.From New York with love

If youre debating going here do it! you're going to want to add it to your list. They have various slices to choose from. I went with Sausage and the White Pie which both were great! My fav was the white! You really can't go wrong with anything here. Elmar's is THE place to get the perfect slice of Za. Don't skip on their Hero sandwiches! Mine was amazing! The bread and sauce were a perfect match. I had to grab the eggplant parm, and there were no regrets!Keep an eye out for their bagel pop-ups as well!

This place sells not only New York pizza but also New York bagels in the morning! The interior design is giving New York, so the entire experience is a fun experience! Wonderful place with great service! It's decently busy everyday but you get in and out fairly quick for the amount of people there! What to order:Pizza is fantastic!! Get this over a pasta in my opinion, however, the eggplant Parmesan (no pasta) is tasty! The bagels are large and puffed! I heard that this bagel shop brings in water from NY to make their bagels but I could be wrong! Regardless, the bagels were very flavorful with a large variety!

The bagels are to die for!!! I ordered online the night before and my order was ready for pickup at the expected time. I ordered a dozen bagels and a few containers of cream cheese and everybody in the office loved it. I highly recommend trying to stop in Thursday-Saturday AM to try some of their bagels! Very similar to the classic fluffy NYC style. If you're not sure what to try - the cinnamon sugar cream cheese is my favorite!

The pizza was amazing! Perfect bread. They are extremely generous with the toppings. Got a basic pepperoni to try out the place. It was amazing! This is our new go-to. Nice and warm, cheese wasn't overwhelming. Delicious sauce.Cinnamon knots were slightly overdone the icing that came with it was super runny like water. Wasn't terrible, but not great. Getting a 5 for the pizza since that's the star anyways!

The food was very good. Great to find a place that does slices for lunch instead of a full pie. And the slices are generously sized. The chicken parm sub was very good. Why not a 5th star; I'm not sure a chicken bacon ranch pizza is authentically NY pizza (even if it was very tasty.)

Friday afternoon early dinner - we recommend slices of garbage pizza and sharing a FRESH Caesar salad! Yum!

Sunday bagel breakfast sandwiches are THE BEST! Very busy and sells out quick so be earlier than later for sure!

No need to fly to NY for Ny style pizza! Better than pizza shops in NY, including Bleeker Street and Joe's! The best part for me is the crust -- crunchy and chewy yeasty crust is perfect texture!While I love an all-meats topping, I think my favorite here is the classic Margherita. Simple. Beautiful. Classic. When too many toppings were involved, some of the individual flavors got lost.Delicious and affordable NY pizza Get a slice or get a whole 18" pie -- that'll be your hardest decision!My favorite is the Margherita -- simple classic done well! Second best imho is the chicken bacon ranch -- the dill adds SO MUCH to this and makes it so delicious! The Whoopty pie is also great -- simple with sausage, mushrooms, onions.No matter which pie you choose, they are all made with a deliciously chewy and crunchy crust! Just the way I love it! Was also informed that their dough also available for purchase.Be sure to order ahead to ensure you get what you want when you want it!!
