El Super Taco

Pros:This is a fantastic spot to get some food. If you're just looking for a short review, you can spot reading here and just go to this place. It has quickly become our #1 quick service restaurant, we eat here more than any other place. Roughly once a week on average. Fair prices and 10x better than any of those larger franchise Mexican places. The best food items are their Burritos, American Tacos, and Tostadas. Tinga and Barbacoa are our favorite protein options. My wife also just likes their Pollo. We love when they add new menu items to try, and hope they continue to do so.Note than you can modify your order but they do not advertise it well. You can remove things you don't want like. Or, for an extra cost, you can get double meat or add avocado/guac for example. They really should advertise this.Very fast service. Apple Pay accepted!Cons:They need queso! My gosh, I hope the owner reads this review and takes this part seriously. A huge missed opportunity in terms of revenue generation. We love their food, but....sometimes we've picked up queso from a different Mexican spot, that actually sells it, and added that queso to El Super Taco's food products. It enhances an already amazing dish. More salsa options would be great. Something the works better with their chips. The whole place is a little small and the layout is a bit awkward. We wish the salsa cart was closer to the back hallway instead of in the middle of where the line for ordering is.There not a great online ordering system or website. Another huge missed opportunity that is guaranteed to generate more sales given the next generation (Gen Z and even Millennials) prefers to place food orders on their phone. I would rate this place 4.5/5 due to the Cons. Since yelp doesn't allow half ratings, I'm doing 5/5 just because their food is so great. I really hope the owner reads this review and considers some of the cons mentions (queso, online ordering!!)

I have been going to their Burnsville store for a long time as their food is beyond incredible. Never had anything there I did not like. I have been to this one in AV about 5 times and it is just as great with incredible service.

The food is just amazing always pretty fresh from I can tell as well! I remember the first day I went I made all the sounds and faces I couldn't help it and they all laughed at me knowing she is coming back! I love the high tops to see the good get made as well nice sheen plain decor u don't need much for a good taco

If you want some actual good, tasteful authentic Mexican food, this place rocks. It's not that watered down Midwest crap your used to. It has flavor, spice and a friendly staff. I highly suggest especially if you're out of town, or maybe moved here from a different state. Street tacos are amazing. Simple and fresh ingredients makes this place a little kept secret. Try the Quesabirria, it's my favorite. Sorry minnesotaahhhh but this place maybe too spicy for your northern palates

Fast food at its best! Quesadillas were amazing and so were the two street tacos. The side of guac is a must it was so fresh! The ladies all speak Spanish and are very nice. The ambiance is not the greatest. It's not cozy at all. Just go hungry or do pick up. :)

Pretty good authentic tacos. You get the radishes and lime and the cilantro with white onions. Their green sauce is popular in this household but both green and red sauce have a mighty kick to them. We always do pick up and service is quick and food is hot. Ambiance is regular stop in so nothing fancy. I go there often so I'll post the lengua tacos I always get. That's another thing not a lot of places serve lengua.

I stopped by for lunch on a Tuesday and noticed that they had a Taco Tuesday special only $2 for any of a dozen street tacos, normally $3.75! The beef tongue and tripe tacos were $1 more. I ordered a barbacoa (steak) and pastor (pulled pork). I also wanted guacamole, but it was not available that day... very odd! They have a condiment table that had a spicy mayo sauce and of course salsa. I didn't like the sauce, but the salsa was excellent, and wished that they had a spicier salsa. There was also some sliced cucumber that I did not have. Both soft corn tortillas were topped with some pickled red onion and Cotija cheese and were delicious, but the barbacoa was my fave! This is a family-owned business and some of them don't speak English. There was a young boy that took my order, and when I asked what to do after placing my order, he could not give me an answer because he didn't understand my question, so the next patron in line answered me. I definitely recommend this place for its quality of ingredients and value!

Best food have it all the time and we love it, in my opinion the best is Street Cron. The service is really good.

False advertisement! I ordered from DoorDash and only got a taco per Street Taco order even though their menu says it comes with 3
