This is my go to Mexican food spot! The prices are reasonable, the food is amazing, the service is usually top notch, the drinks are delicious and they offer Coke Zero which is my fav if I don't get a margarita. The chimichangas are perfect, and they have a great lunch portion that's cheaper vs. dinner prices. My son loves the kids combos here too. They have a nice outdoor patio and plenty of seating options.

I wanted to love this place! A very cute Mexican restaurant with amazing service! But the food was just mediocre. Starting with the positives. Our servers and bartender were so friendly and helpful from the moment we walked. They gave us chips and salsa pretty much the moment we sat down, and the chips were good! I had a passion fruit margarita and my friends had a sangria margarita and a modelo and both were very satisfied with their drinks. We ordered a shot of tequila and the presentation was cute, they pour it to the rim at your table. The highlight was they did a fun birthday shot! They played a birthday song, put a sombrero on the birthday girl and gave her a flaming shot! Super cute! Now to the part that is leaving this review with 3 stars. The food was mediocre, at best. My friends said theirs were "standard" but my steak street tacos were sooo dry, so dry it was hard to chew and swallow it. I will say, it was not inedible so I do plan on trying this place again! They do have great lunch specials that I'm looking forward to trying!

The good: they had a section on menu specifically for vegetarians. This is nice because it gives confidence that the beans aren't made with lard. Also the staff was friendly and attentive. The bad: the vegetarian meals were markedly more expensive than comparable meat options, with the only difference being they didn't include the meat ingredient.I ordered a combo that included a bean burrito, quesadilla and chalupa. The burrito was fine but nothing special. The chalupa had lettuce and avocado and beans and was probably the best item if only for the fresh toppings. The quesadilla was uninspiring with no toppings or sauce and the filling only of cheese that wasn't fully melted. My partner got a combo that included a chile relleno, quesadilla, and rice. The rice was plain as was the quesadilla and there was no lettuce, quac or cilantro--nothing green. The chile relleno as also was plain but did have a filling and a sauce. These combos were $14.99.Our third friend had chicken fajitas and he also got a chalupa. He loved it. What is annoying is that the vegetarian options were noticeably MORE expensive despite being the same as meat option except without meat! Most of the near combos were $10.99!!! This makes no sense as the most expensive ingredient is meat!

I was hungry for Mexican food and this restaurant had a location close to our home so we stopped. It is a standard type of restaurant in terms of tables, chairs, ambiance etc. Both booths and tables are available for seating and allows for some larger groups too it appears. We started with a Texas Margarita which was very tasty. They offered a LOT of different flavor options as well as beer and other options. We also got the Queso Fundido which was excellent. Cheesy with a nice amount of ground sausage in it and a few warm, soft tortillas which I stole from my husband so he had to use chips. Oh chips....they had very good chips with a nice fresh salsa as well.I got the Combo #6 which came with an enchilada and a tamale, rice and beans. Everything hit the spot and it had a really good flavor. That is what I have found missing lately at some of the more "American" Mexican restaurants and I really wanted some flavor and wasn't disappointed. My husband got the Combo #1 and was also very happy with his dinner as well. The portions were a nice size and allowed for some leftovers as well.It looked like they were expanding the restaurant when we went so that is nice to get a bit bigger space. We were pretty happy with our experience.

Worst Mexican food in the south of the river. I don't know why anybody wants to come here or orders from here is absolutely terrible.

We drove by this place on the way to a hockey game. After the game, we decided to give it a try. We walked in and on the right side must be a bar because the music was loud and bass-pounding. I said right then, I'm not eating there. But the restaurant side is to the left. We got seated and they had nice music going but you could still hear the bass thumping a bit from the other side. So the door going from the restaurant side to the bar side won't shut on it's own meaning if you go through it and don't close it, it will stay stuck open allowing you to hear the nice relaxing music from the restaurant overpowered from the thumping music from the other side. This was not very relaxing but we ordered anyway. They brought out chips and salsa right away and with the first bite of salsa i decided I didn't think it was all that good. I was possibly tainted by the dual competing musics. By the 3rd chip, I really fell in love with the salsa. It was one of the better ones i've ever had.We order the Paraina burrito which was very tasty.I say the food here is really good. Would I eat there again? Mmmm, probably not but I would certainly get some food to go because it was really good.

I've been here twice now since they opened up in Cub foods complex near the Transit Station. The place has a fun, Mexican atmosphere, with bright colors and authentic music playing (including some contemporary stuff). Our servers have always been very pleasant, but not the most helpful. (For example, we ordered Margaritas recently during happy hour, and were not told the medium Margs were on special, so paid full price for a small Margarita, instead of getting the medium for less than the small). But my biggest complaint is the food. The first visit I had an average burrito--okay, but I can get better from food trucks in the area. The second time I split the Texas Fajita's with my wife (chicken, steak and shrimp). The shrimp was way overcooked (rubbery!), and there was probably less than two ounces of either steak or chicken, neither of which was very tasty. And this comes with only three small tortillas. I know we were splitting, and didn't mind paying for extra tortillas, but if I had been eating alone, this would have barely been enough food, and definitely not enough tortillas.

The food was great BUT if you pay with a credit card or debit card your information might get stolen or used. Went there on 1/18/2025 and 1/20/2025, both times were paid with credit cards(by different people) and each time the card was compromised and they had to get new cards. I did not use my card as it was a birthday dinner treat for me, but my friends and family's cards were compromised both times.BE MINDFUL IF PAYING WITH CARD.
