El Jefe's Taco Truck

Fantastic tacos, the El Pastor was phenomenal, especially when enjoyed after a long bike ride while admiring a red hot sunset on a rare warm evening in March! 10/10 - I must return to try all the tacos! Love the friendly staff, best moment of 2024 yet

Had to try El Jefe's Taco Truck tonight since it was parked across the street on Park between South 7th and South 8th Street just blocks from US Bank Stadium. Pretty simple menu, tacos and enchiladas with a choice of steak, pork, chicken and birria. The sauces they gave us had a nice bite to it. We had the steak tacos and birria enchiladas. Fresh, tasty, nice touch of cheese and the sauces were a big plus. Tacos were 3 for $12 and the enchiladas was 4 pieces for $12. They also have a variety of drinks. I hope they come back for more Vikings games and other big events at USBS.

I saw this place on tiktok. I was intrigued by the sauce in a baggy when I saw it on tiktok. I was like that's different. I spotted them behind a gas station while getting on 169 and had to go turn around and come back. I got 2 birria tacos and 1 asada. It came with some really delicious rice. The meat was very flavorful. The birria was not what I'm accustomed to being from Texas. I expected to see a taco dipped in a red chili sauce with meat, cheese, onions, and cilantro. It was basically a barbacoa taco to me. It was really flavorful just not what I expected. I asked for grilled onions instead of raw onions and still ended up with lots of raw onions. The verde sauce was good as well as the red sauce. I usually don't like the red sauce bcuz it's usually too spicy and i like spicy food. This red sauce was a tolerable heat. I may try to swing back by before leaving the area. Good job El Jefe!I didn't get my drink he told the kid to give me though...

The best Taco's in the New Hope Area!! Very delicious flavor great size for the price$ Amazing service! Definitely recommend & will be coming back!

5/5 or 10/10 whatever you wanna say I recommend!When I say flavorrrr the birria meat was on point. The meat was actually seasoned and tender. I've tried numerous of places and either the meat is tough or the seasoning is way off. Love try taco trucks and this one didn't disappoint. The birria quesadilla is top tier!!Oh and the sauces were good too! Found this spot on tik tok and I'm glad I tried it!

Love a hole in the wall spot. We had the el pastor tacos and the chicken quesadilla. Both were super tasty, the quesadilla was a bit more food if that matters to you. Authentic and extremely delicious!

Truck at 56 today. So good! Tacos and quesadilla. Yum! Great addition to our patio beers!

Had tacos from here with my husband very good! Will definitely recommend to people. You can smell taste and feel that they were made fresh in the truck the drive. The workers of the truck make you feel like your family cause that is how inviting they are. The only regret is that I didn't ask for more onion cause I love onion and cilantro too.

Fun and friendly owners and food is great! Fun vibes and definitely know how to hype up their customers!! Will definitely be back!
