This is a great spot to grab a bite to eat for breakfast or lunch, without frills or pretense. A large menu of salads, sandwiches and soups provides options for everyone on their lunch break. I am a fan of their burritos, hearty and delicious at an affordable price. Ed's Kitchen is located in an office building with the center atrium open for seating, allowing for lots of space but also giving it a hotel restaurant vibe. The seating is comfortable and the service is fast though, providing a pleasant experience for all.

For a corporate building, this sure is a good find. As soon as you enter through the front door, it's diagonally to your left.I think I ordered the most Midwestern thing on the menu, a Turkey and cheese hot hoagie with a side of tots. Boy, was this a welcome end for my hunger. They're a touch pricey, but highly recommended!

There's nothing more convenient than having a restaurant just steps away from your office. They are quick with getting you your order and the food is actually really good. Their prices are average and what you'd expect from any quick breakfast/lunch spot. For breakfast, I sometimes get their oatmeal and you can even add things like raisins and brown sugar. I've also gotten their brioche breakfast sandwich (bacon, egg and cheese) and it's also been great. As I type this, I'm eating a bacon and cheese omelet with sliced avocado on top with a side of whole grain wheat toast. So delicious. They have a lunch menu that can fit anyone's tastes. They have salads, cold, deli-like sandwiches, burgers, hot hoagies and much more. Their fries are crisp and lightly seasoned. If you're in the mood for chicken strips, they have that too! Want salad on your chicken? That too is an option! This place is a gem and I'm very lucky it's so close. Thanks, Diego!

My boss wanted to treat us to lunch she braved the bitter cold to get our lunch- she was interested in what I was ordering- glad she didn't get it. English Stilton cheese burger- um..., blue cheese dressing isn't anywhere nor should be called "Stilton"! That's what was on the menu. I'm providing a picture What we ordered wasn't extraordinary, but for 6.99 I'm not going to complain- others got salad soup- their description of WHAT they offer is misleading- Geoffrey Zakarian ( food network star), would agree- DON'T offer me what you're NOT actually giving-Quick cheap lunch- not the worst , not bad- 3 stars.Oh and someone commented on the skimpy meat they provide- TRUE- more bread and lettuce, not so much MEAT.

Was looking for some lunch before going to Costco, since, as they say, you never want to go grocery shopping on an empty stomach. This seemed to be a pretty nice deli that wasn't a chain store, and the menu looked decent with reasonable prices. This deli is on the first floor of in an office building.... Parking shouldn't be a problem, though the deli is pretty busy during lunch hour from all the badged employees rushing to grab a bite to eat.We ordered the roast beef and swiss hot hoagie with black rye and "crinkle cut fries" and the chicken strips with tater tots. The roast beef and swiss hot hoagie was pretty minimal with regards to meats, cheese, or veggies. Couldn't really taste the rye bread, either. Not sure if it was because of the excessive amounts of tomato/mayo, or if the bread was that bad.The chicken strips, despite being "award winning" was thin and dry. The batter/breading or whatever you'd call it was barely present and flavorless. The half cup of chipotle sauce that I ordered with the chicken strips was the only thing that made it less dry and gave it a little bit of flavor to make it palatable. The sauce wasn't even that good. The crinkle cut fries were just basic fries, and the tater tots were significantly undercooked and excessively greasy. Couldn't finish the potatoes, and that's a travesty.I feel sorry for the folks who work in this building. It seems that there's a bit of Stockholm Syndrome with regards to this deli and the reviews on this site and on Google maps. That was probably my first mistake. Either that, or the folks who visit this deli have dead palates. That said, the food from this visit is pretty bad. Not sure if it's because we didn't fit in with the typical clientele or employees in the building or otherwise. The lobby is nice to eat in, though. Quite excessively yuppie, with bike tire rims hanging on fishing line from the ceiling 50 feet off the ground. 1. I wonder how it got put up there; 2. Hope it hasn't dropped on anyone. Anyway, going to Costco would have been a cheaper option with better food. I would not recommend visiting this deli, and I definitely don't plan to return.

This might be my favorite lunch spot... ever. And that's saying a lot! Ed's is always consistent, their ingredients are fresh, and they have amazing chocolate chip cookies. Their tots are truly perfection and I highly recommend the Texas Salad.

Hidden Gem in the West End. Everything I've eaten here has been delicious: Pastrami, turkey club, ham, breakfast sandwich, all of it amazing. High quality ingredients all around. Fresh bread. The chocolate chip cookie is probably the best cookie in the Twin Cities. Staff are very friendly and the shop is bright and immaculately clean.

Pretty good food! Some of their sandwiches verge on the edge of being boring, but overall the quality is good. I'd suggest getting a soup to offset sandwiches that seem a little dry.
